Hello and Happy Thanksgiving week!  Ahhh, this is one of my most favorite weeks of the year as the floodgates to the holiday season are about to open and the most glorious time of the year is ready to begin.  But, before it does, I want to take a moment to highlight a lovely little casual look that can take you all the places you need to go leading up to the big day.

Grey, cream and navy are such a gorgeous trio that perfectly embodies the richness of the season with the perfect understated feel I love.  This sweater is such a good option at the minute as it can easily go casual or dressy depending how you pair it.  These trousers complement the feel this look is going for and create that perfect early winter white effect.

If you're searching for a coat, this one comes highly recommended.  I love the look and feel of it worn effortlessly with loafers, heels and hightops alike.  Today, some easygoing Converse fit the bill.  I'm loving them in this shade, so wearable with so many of those wintertime neutrals.

Classic black sunglasses and this stunning handbag will never get old.  I love them both with most everything I wear which in and of itself makes them worth the price of admission.  I love it when getting dressed is this simple and looks this well done.

I hope everyone is preparing to spend a lovely bit of time with family and friends and taking a moment to reflect upon the most precious things you are thankful for.  Stay tuned for my Black Friday favorites coming your way later in the week.  Have a wonderful week everyone and Happy Thanksgiving!

Alas the weekend has rolled in and the casual vibes came right along with it.  There are few things I really enjoy more than sporting easy-to-wear looks that feel relaxed while looking one hundred percent amazing.

These pieces easily achieve that effortless feel with cozy fabrics, subtle colors and inviting textures that evoke the smokey grey mood of the season.  The asymmetrical cardigan works so beautifully on so many levels making it such a smart addition to your closet.  I could easily see it worn casually with denim like I've styled here for a weekend outing or with a nice pair of trousers, some loafers and this coat.

While blue denim is not a piece I typically reach for, I do quite love it worn with soft greys and rich ebonies during autumn.  This pair features the cut and fit I'm really loving at the minute.  The higher waist is so flattering and lends such a sense of femininity while hugging your curves in all the desired places.

In my last post, I talked about my new found love of this piece right here.  The longline quilted vest is everywhere at the minute but I'm loving it despite its over saturating the market.  Something about how it skims the body while giving shape and structure to your shape in the most understated way makes me really want to have a couple of color options in my rotation.

Classic black Chelsea boots, the sunglasses and the addition of a basic, oversized scarf finish the look off in understated style.  Perfect for whatever you have planned this weekend.

All these pieces are linked below.  Enjoy your downtime, however you choose to spend it!

Midweek inspo means a borrowed from the boys look this week.  I find it rather interesting the way my once all girlie, all the time style has evolved into moments that are a bit more sophisticated and inclusive of menswear inspired pieces like these.

Today's post is the perfect example of what that looks like so let's break it down, shall we?

To me, a well-fitting pair of trousers is an indespensible component of every closet.  The reasons why are practically as endless the number of ways to wear them.   I happen to love them with trainers, a boxy sweatshirt and a Moto jacket just as much as I do paired with ankle boots, a soft knit sweater and a longline quilted vest.  In fact, I'm really loving the new look of this updated piece being seen nearly everywhere at the minute.

And, I have to say  that I'm still a fan of the lieutenant's cap.  I think it's the perfect unexpected bit of interest when added to this look.  I also love it with moody all black and charcoal looks for autumn and winter.

Finally, add in some silver and gold bits with your jewelry and this handbag in such a stunning shade as this one and you are completely ready for whatever your day holds.

Hope this leaves you inspired to try something new.  Have a wonderful day wherever your heart takes you...be well!

Hello November!  Only have a quick minute today but still had to share my latest style inspo as we head into a new month.  Number 11 always evokes such moody vibes in me of smoke and firesides juxtaposed by peeks of burning embers amid all kinds of cozy.  These pieces do exactly that via rich navy, deep charcoals and warm and toasty cinnamon shades.  Wear them tonally or mix them up, there's certainly no wrong way.

I've linked these pieces below and definitely recommend adding a favorite or two to your closet if you're looking for something new to love.  Enjoy Monday and the start of a new month!

TGIF and happy almost Halloween!  I'm taking a step away from the expected all black theme. and embracing my beloved winter neutrals offset by bits of black.  Each of these pieces here is a staple in and of itself and each comes together with the other to create a gorgeous autumn look.

By now you may know that I love to style a look around my outerwear.  This coat fits that bill today with its double face detail and absolutely perfect sleeve straps with button fastening.  The color can go a myriad of ways but perhaps none better than paired with creams and ivories.

This sweater probably works with everything I own and I really love it here.  Equally versatile are these trousers which I love dressed up and worn super casually.  A sage green handbag gives just the right amount of contrast paired with unexpected interest.  Black and gold accents tie the entire look together with effortless class and ease.

These pieces are some of my favorites at the minute.  If you've seen anything you love here today, I've linked everything for you in the thumbnails below.  Enjoy the weekend everyone!

Autumn is finally feeling like it is in full swing which must mean we need to take a moment to give. proper welcome to the colors of the season.  Sage, honey, espresso, cream and charcoal are not only found in the kitchen at the minute.  They are also some of the richest, most gorgeous colors that so many of us autumn girls are craving right now.

So much like their sister colors of spring, these deeper hues are exactly what the fall closet loves and what I'm reaching for to create multiple looks that will become my autumn go-tos.  This ribbed knit jumper (affordable version here) is one of the most versatile pieces with which to build a variety of looks.  I love it paired with a nice leather skirt and some tall boots or on top of a high-waisted pair of twill pants like these and a nice pair of trainers.

Another trending piece that will still be relevant in years to come is the shirt jacket.  The ever popular "shacket" comes in such an array of colors and fabrics that you're sure to find one you like.  I prefer mine in a solid, neutral shade like grey or ivory which it to be worn with so many of the colors I already gravitate towards.

Quilted down coats are another hot ticket item this season but I honestly don't recall them ever not being.  I really love the new silhouettes they are showing up in.  I love this high neck version with the horizontal quilting.  And, of course, the color

Everyday style is such a personal choice but if you keep these three simple ideas uppermost in your mind, you will find that your best looks are always simple and rather easy to achieve.

I find that the number one thing that allows every woman to look and feel their best is to only wear styles that make you feel good.  Regardless of what the "hot items" might be at the moment, if they are pieces that don't leave you feeling confident and with your head in good place, then they will not translate favorably no matter how on trend they are.

Pieces that flatter your figure and accentuate the things you love about your body are what you need to turn towards.  Whether that might be long shapely legs or a striking hourglass figure, your clothing choices should highlight what you love about you.

Another important thing to consider when building your wardrobe is what is your color scheme.  Are you a bright and bold sort of girl, do you prefer a lot of patterns and prints in your closet or is basic black more your comfort zone?

For me, I can say I am one hundred percent a neutral lover.  So, whenever I add something to collection I always consider how it will play with those classic soft shades and balance out what I already own.  This charcoal grey knit dress is the perfect example of a neutral that would work effortlessly well with blacks, caramels, ivories and those deeper jewel toned colors I know I will be wearing all season.

Finally, if you have been following along for even just a little while, then you already know that I am dedicated the "Wear It Three Ways" rule of fashion.  Simply stated, if I can't wear a piece three different ways and love all of them, it doesn't come home with me.  I find that when you love shopping and clothing as much as I do, this standard rule of thumb really does help to keep me from buying more than I need and more than I will use.

And there they are, my three keys to everyday style that I live by.  I hope they help you to find the key to the looks and styles you love too.

This time of the year is full of so many warm comforts.  From your latte to comfort foods in the kitchen, cozy moments are simply everywhere.  And with that being the case, I find it logical that these seasonal comforts find their way into our closets as well.  Today's look features some of the muted shades of autumn paired with and perked up by rich tones of cinnamon and nutmeg which together blend flawlessly into some really gorgeous outfits.

If you've been following me here then you more than likely know that I'm nothing if not practical when it comes to choosing pieces that will work for you in a number of ways.  Having a piece that can only be worn once or in one way is in no way acceptable in my eyes.  Unless, of course, you're enjoying a Rent the Runway moment.  And if so, by all means go for it, haha.  But that is a post for another day!

Each piece I've picked here today works beautifully with the others as well as alongside so many others I plan to wear throughout the months ahead.  And, not only does that make it so much easier to budget, it also makes getting dressed much simpler.

These trousers caught my eye and I'm so glad I picked them up.  The color is one of my tried and true favorites and looks so well done with ivories and creams and a dash of cognac or cinnamon to add a bit of interest and depth to the look.

This sweater pairs perfectly with them with the shorter wider silhouette bit of a cropped feel that it gives off.  This piece also works just as easily work with anything from a mini skirt to joggers and look incredible all while doing so.  Add in a long duster-like jacket for a bit of extra warmth on those chilly autumn the mornings.  This one is quite a lovely option with its open front and pretty color.  It also could work with just so much of what is already most likely your closet .

A pair of slouchy boots would be the perfect complement to the entire look.  I have my eye on this pair and absolutely love the warm nutmeg-like color.  I could see them with a look like this one here as well as a midi skirt, smart trousers and even a really nice pair of cashmere joggers.

I really do love it when so many pieces like this just come together so easily.  The colors, the cuts and the fabrics are everything I'm loving and exactly what I want for the season.  I hope you find something you love here too.  Just in case I linked everything in the thumbnails below for you. If there's one thing I am when it comes to fashion and style it's a lover of all things classic. While keeping things fresh and up-to-date is key,  I think true style really begins in these classic colors in pieces. I can still remember admiring fashion icons wearing similar styles and shades which have gone on to shape my personal style.

Today I've put together a few pieces that would be perfect and highly appropriate for early fall. The addition of some other transitional pieces like this coat would help take things further into season.  So let's take a look at how style the classics.

For me, when it comes to autumn, it's always all about the turtleneck. Fine gauge knits start me off each September as they are so breathable and easily layered.  This gorgeous version would work so well with many of the pieces you probably already own.  I love it here with these tan trousers which would be perfect for daytime or drinks depending how you style it.  This pair of loafers would be just the thing for keeping the look casual and smart.

Going with a monochromatic vision is always a good idea as long as you add some bits of interest via another color.  Here I went with the obvious choice of black in most of my accessories as well as this coat.   There is just something about a lapel collar outerwear piece that elevates any look even if it's just jeans and a T-shirt.  Because of that, I definitely recommend it as a good investment come fall.

Gold jewelry adds the finishing touch to what I consider a very well curated outfit choice.  If you love any of the pieces you see, I've linked them in the ready-to-shop thumbnails below.  Enjoy!

Autumn favorites, what a loaded subject that one is for me. This post could naturally be a lot longer than it is but for today I'm going to focus in on some of my current favorite pieces for the start of fall. Let's take a look at these creamy neutrals and see the many ways that you can work them into your rotation as well.

It's no secret that my wardrobe basically consist of taupes, creams, greys and cognacs the absolute minute the weather starts to take a turn towards the cooler end.  And, if I'm being quite honest, temperatures don't even have to dip all that much for me to start to feel one-hundred percent fall ready. I think I was born that way, ha ha.

This outerwear piece has been getting a lot of attention as of late. The so-called "shacket" made its way into the limelight last year sometime. Since then, it seems most of us have embraced its practicality and ease of wear as it has become one of the most-wanted pieces I've seen at the minute.  Knowing that I don't like to necessarily jump on the latest trends, I still think this particular piece is worthy of a try if you quite like it.

Another item I love to reach for throughout the fall and, depending where you live, perhaps even the winter, is the quilted jacket. Now, we have seen this item in many varieties over the past decade or so but I am really enjoying this version.  Longer coats may not be everyone's ideal cup of tea but I think that they are really far more simple to style and work quite well with most of what I know my closet holds.

This one is a nice neutral option and comes in several colors to suit your personal taste and the color scheme of your wardrobe. I chose it in this nutmeg color as I think it will look beautiful with all of those neutral shades I spoke of before.  I also have my eye on this belted number which I think will look absolutely gorgeous going forward into cooler weather.

Collared sweaters, Chelsea boots and a soft leather handbag are all I need to round out my first-of-fall selections.  To me there's no question as to why this is my favorite season.  From all that it offers in nature to the many many splendid ways you can dress for it, I am in love with autumn. Hope you're having a great week everyone and thanks for stopping by!

TGIF!  Time for the weekdays to roll into the weekend and your closet loves the change of pace.  Even though the world has become so much more relaxed, the weekend will always still bring with it another level of laidback.

But, if you've come to know me then you'll not be surprised that there is always still some element of getting dressed in every look I put together.  Always, haha.  So let's dive into this one a bit deeper to see which elements can be combined to create the perfect off-duty uniform.

The cornerstone of any really great transitional outfit to me is the trench coat.  And, while the classic camel version is iconic for sure, I am also a huge fan of the navy version.  While it can be a bit harder to come by, if you can get your hands on a nice one, I suggest you grab it and go.

This one from Hobbs London, is a particular lovely fit with some nice double-breasted buttoning, classic gun flaps and epaulettes it makes for such a nice option rain or sunshine.  Shorter overshirt styles like this one also play nicely with those relaxed weekend looks.

Either one pairs well with classic stripes like this jumper and a dark wash pair of denim.  Both navy loafers and classic white trainers can pair back with this look alongside a gorgeous leather handbag.  I'm getting ready to unbox this one over the weekend.

These time-honored sunglasses and some nice gold hoops will complete the look and have you ready for what ever fun the weekend will bring.  Hope everyone enjoys their downtime and dressing for it!

It's no secret, I quite like getting dressed. Friends and family often comment to that end and I have to say it's true. I find genuine joy and pleasure in putting together simple everyday outfits as well as looks for more glamorous moments.

Today's post is dedicated to the everyday chic.  And while most of us don't have to get glammed up on the daily we still do want to look polished and put together as much as possible. We also want it to be easy aka a totally uncomplicated with stunning results. Basic silhouettes and gorgeous neutrals are what I turn to most when I want to make getting dressed simple yet satisfying.

This look relies heavily upon the basic pairing of black and cream.  Honestly I don't think this is a combination you can go wrong with. I love how the two shades play effortlessly off of one another. Black is especially reliable for autumn and winter and right now it pairs so well with the lighter shade of cream.  These trousers work well all year around and are well worth considering adding to your closet.

I love putting them together with a turtleneck jumper just like this one.  It is a basic piece that works overtime towards creating such a lovely variety of fall weather outfits.  As temperatures turn even cooler, you can of course pair it with a trench for an extra layer of warmth.  But for now, I like the look just as it is.

Timeless footwear and accessories complete this one so beautifully.  I am a huge fan of the loafer and this iconic pair does not disappoint.  If, however, they are not in the budget there are some very similar items you can find for a fraction of the cost.  I also love these.  Great sunglasses, a pair of hoops and this bag go on to check all the boxes on what I consider a very well-curated look.

Classic basics are brilliant which is honestly no surprise as they have withstood the test of time.  What are your favorite ways to look and feel your best daily?  I'd love to know!

I'm often asked the question, "What are the most important pieces I need in my wardrobe?" and honestly the answer depends upon you and your personal taste and style. For me, I know that that means staying true to my love and neutrals the classic pieces I love so much.

Whatever you find to be your personal style is what you should embrace and go towards each and every time you are getting dressed. That way you are always certain to be putting your best look forward and feeling confident going out into the day.

Some key elements I find I am always turning to are the basics that I tend to build my wardrobe upon. Today's look highlights that with the pieces you say which not only represent my style but also speak to the new season.

By now you all know of my love of the smart blazer.  Now, this piece can naturally come in a variety of styles. For example, whether you are a fan of the single button variety or the double breasted look this piece offers a wide range of versatility.  Personally I love a bit of an oversized look in a blazer at the minute. I tend to always reach for either a black navy or other neutral shade in this piece. However, in today's post I am featuring this chic version which I'm finding very appealing as well as easy to style in multiple ways. You could pair it with a black skirt and some trainers for an elevated yet casual look. Or you could go with your favorite pair of jeans like I've done here.

While the weather is still a bit on the warmer side, I decided to layer this short-sleeved black linen top underneath. I also am loving these chunky menswear inspired loafers. I just think they pair so well with this entire look as well as with trousers and cropped jumpers or a nice button down shirt during the fall.

Gold jewelry is always at the ready for me and I really like this bangle which works with just so many books you may be creating. I am also a fan of classic pieces like these gorgeous sparkly stud earrings and of course you know I need my sunglasses absolutely everywhere I go no matter the weather, ha ha. This pair is especially nice as they go with nearly all the fall outfits I plan on creating.

Finally, I just ordered this beautiful black bag and cannot wait for it to arrive. While I am a big fan of neutrals, I noticed that a really nice black handbag was one item that was missing from my collection of the bags most often wear.  I'm now eagerly awaiting its arrival and looking forward to unboxing it and letting you know what I think.

And there you have it.  The keys to always looking and feeling your best lie in knowing and honoring your own style and what you feel best wearing. I think that's a pretty good mantra for a Monday. Hope you are having a fantastic start to the week! Thanks for sharing this part I have it with me.

Undeniably the time is coming to turn our eye towards the next season.  And, despite how much I absolutely love the summer months, when autumn is what's next I do get a sense of great anticipation.  Translated that means I am giddy at the thought of all the incredibly wonderful moments the fall season holds and styling gorgeous looks to enjoy them in.

Whether you're planning a lot of casual, fun times or you have a few big and brilliant  events coming up, it all begins here with the introduction of a few key pieces right now that will easily get the transitional fall wardrobe ball rolling.  So let's take a look, shall we?

Autumn is a season where you have to be ready for anything the weather may bring you.  Temps can range a bit drastically at times so I love being prepared with something I can throw on if I'm needing a bit of warmth and easily remove as well.  This chunky knit neutral cardigan is the perfect choice for doing that quite easily.  I love the shape and style of this one.  It works with all the colors I already own as well as any patterns or prints you may be incorporating into the look.  I'd wear it over a tank and with some loose, floaty trousers right now along with a chunky sandal.  Later, it would pair perfectly with a classic white blouse and these pants or even a pair of nice denim.

This short sleeved blouse is another piece that can be taken directly into the new season.  Worn once with a pair of linen shorts, a tank and some sandals, it now makes friends with some menswear-inspired trousers, mules and a smart blazer.  Add in a leather pouch-style clutch and these sunnies and I'm jealous that I'm not wearing this look right now, haha.

Speaking of accessories, they are also in the running for uping their game at the turn of the page each season.  These sunglasses are perfect for early fall with their all black appearance set off by a slightly updated cate-eye frame.  Gold jewelry often gets a slight bit bolder come autumn and this pair of hoops is on my radar.  A leather handbag that gives a nod to both what was and what's coming is something I can never resist and this one really shows you why.  First off, I love the colors and how they work effortlessly together to create a a beautifully polished look that you can style with pretty much all your wardrobe choices.

Naturally, trainers transcend all seasons but a refresh may be in order right about now.  If so, then I highly recommend this pair of Stan Smith's.  I've had mine for about 10 months now and they are still one of my absolute favorite pairs.  So easy to wear and they work with so much of what I tend to be wearing including casual day dresses that I'm looking to dress down a bit.

If you can't already tell, I really do enjoy transitional dressing and finding fresh ways to ease into the new season.  I hope you love these pieces as much as I do.  If you want to shop any of what you see here, I've linked them in the thumbnails below.

Have a lovely Monday!

Few things are as versatile as some classic and timeless, well-chosen accessories.  And whether your passion be for shoes, sunglasses or gorgeous leather handbags, one thing is for certain, they each can transform a look.

Personally, I happen to have an obsession with sunglasses which will certainly come as no surprise.  I also, however, happen to think that both handbags and shoes can rightfully hold their own alongside the competition.  As such, today's post is devoted to some of my favorites among all three.

You all know my love of neutrals and that love story remains true when it comes to accessories.  Perhaps even more so than with my clothing, haha.  But honestly, you can not find anything more deserving of your dollar than a versatile accessory.  Let me show you why.

This bag is one I fell in love with last fall and I am still obsessed.  There's something about smooth leather that always gets my attention.  The use of the overlapping design is quite eye-catching and the adjustable strap is a feature I really like when coordinating it with my outfit.

Shoes are another area of ones wardrobe where selecting the right pairs will extend the wearability of all the clothing in your closet and allow you to design so many looks around them.  Come this time of year, I always gravitate towards a nice, neutral colored mule.  Black is always a striking option as is this sandy shade seen here in a soft suede loafer.  This is such a timeless look that you can never go wrong with.

Last but clearly not least is a great pair of sunglasses.  Oh, where do I even begin here?  Although I have created a bit of a collection to choose from, there is one bit of advice I can give you when it comes to closing the right pair.  Be sure to find those that suit your overall style rather than just one or two outfits.  And be certain to go with a pair that truly flatters your face.  Aside from those two tidbits, I also find that time-honored colors like classic black and brown tortoiseshell are always ones that work back to some many color schemes you may want to be wearing.

It's been said that accessories often do make or break whatever it is you are wearing and I do think that's true.  I hope this inspired you in some way and has you looking forward to incorporating more of your personal style into your everyday looks. Have a wonderful weekend everyone and thanks for stopping by!

Hello everyone and happy Monday!  Whether the first day out of the weekend is something you love or you're team "one more day", one thing remains true.  You still want to find ways to dress that suit your mood and your style.  For me, I know that sometimes that means relaxed style and in other moments it translates into minimalist chic that's ready for anything.  For today's post, I've combined both options to give us the best of all worlds.

This dress instantly caught my eye and with such good reason.  I love the color of course as all things neutral own my heart.  But, the style and shape are equally alluring on this one.  I love the high neckline and easy drape of the silhouette.  Clearly, it would easily complement a variety of body shapes and both petite and tall heights.

A pair of easy sandals or some nice trainers would again both work with this dress depending upon the look you are going for.  Pop on some gold jewelry and a cute sun hat and you are set.  Contrastingly, if you are keeping it quite casual then perhaps you might want to reach for something a bit more along the lines of this summer sweater and these walking shorts.

I love the soft look and feel of this one and how it blends so seamlessly from one season into another. Pair it with some Bermuda shorts and a pair of loafers for an easy running around look.  A long handled bag like this one is a closet chameleon and would be a perfect choice for either look.  A pair of rose colored glasses rounds out everything we've done here and finishes off my picks for ways to say to hello to a new week.

Hope you're all enjoying the last full month of summer and getting ready for autumn.  Just the thought makes me giddy.  Haha, more to come on that in the future.  Til then, happy summer!

Summer is prime time for sightseeing days and the last thing you want to be doing is fussing over your outfit while taking in the pretty locales.  Today's look will be absolutely perfect for city street strolls and taking in the culture.

This basic look is good for so many reasons and works effortlessly in so many situations.  Built from the blazer on up these pieces become easily interchangeable and really let you achieve several different looks based off these key pieces.

A black or navy jacket will give endless options all year long and is well worth the initial investment.  Here it pairs well with these Bermuda walking shorts which I also love styled multiple ways.  For this look, I went for this striped black and white t-shirt which is always a classic whether it be casual or street style.

Then let your accessory choices take you further in the direction you want to go.  Today I chose to keep things a bit more casual with a baseball cap, some oversized sunglasses and a nice pair of trainers.  You could, of course, also go with a silk scarf, ballet flats and these pretty shades to elevate the look a bit.  Either way, a roomy leather tote will be your best friend as you easily stash things away in it while on the go.

Hopefully you're headed somewhere fun and exciting where you can sport this look in the days ahead.  I'll be back on Friday with more ways to style your life pretty.  Until then, enjoy!

There's something just so effortless and chic about pairing neutrals with classic shades like black and white.  While it's still summer, I'm opting for the latter and putting together an easy, wearable look that would be great for whenever you're wanting a casual outfit that speaks volumes.

These white jeans have been my absolute favorite this season.  First off, I love the cut which is extremely flattering on so many body shapes.  The high-waisted cut is very comfortable and simply elongates the leg whether you're model height or perfectly petite.  Along with hat, the ankle length hits at just the right spot eliminating that awkward chopping off of the leg and ankle that capri length jeans and trousers can sometimes do.

Here I'm choosing to pair them with a lovely little popover top.  I think that this one is just so nicely done with the puff sleeved detail and pretty gathered front.  It would be equally nice worn with a long pencil skirt and some kitten heels.

For me, gold jewelry always wins.  And this pair of sailor knots is just what this look is needing.  These stackable rings are also quite gorgeous and would be another fitting addition to the look we're creating here.

Smart extras like a silk scarf are an easy way to add some interest to your outfit.  This one is a particularly nice choice here as the bit of black works back to that of these sunglasses, tying the entire look together.

My favorite summer sandals and basket bag fill out the final details completing the look in a way I absolutely love.  Ahhh, everything in life should be as easy as dressing for the day, haha.  I hope you're all having a fun and productive Monday.  Enjoy!

Weekend plans?  You've come to the right place.  These three looks are perfect for just about anything you might have coming up.  Whether it's a lovely day date, brunch with the in-laws or a trip to the local ice cream shop, these three looks would definitely work.

Summer dresses are quite a favorite for me.  Most likely because they are completely versatile and transcend to fit any occasion.  This floral option has such nice colors that are so appropriate for right now as the season wanes down.  The halter top neckline works so well for either a warm day or cooler evening as you could easily pop on a smart blazer or cardigan sweater to wear over it.

Casual looks are so weekend friendly and when paired with neutrals they're even that much better.  This sleeveless sweater is one of my favorites at the minute.  I find that I reach for it routinely as it pairs so well with much of what I own and wear quite often.  These trousers have been in my closet all spring and summer and while I wasn't wearing them as much through the really warm days last month, I find myself going back to them a bit more as the weather cools off just a bit.

And, of course, no weekend would be complete without a sweet treat.  Mine, as you may well know, is ice cream in any variety, haha.  Recently, I enjoyed the most delicious little day date to the local shop and wish I had this denim one piece.  It is such an easy look that requires zero effort but looks completely pulled together.

Sandals, mules and trainers all work well with these three basics and are even a bit interchangeable depending upon your taste.  Add in a summertime tote, classic handbag or straw clutch and you are all set.   Hope you all have a wonderful weekend...thanks for stopping by!
