Christmas is coming soon!  Today's gifts are all about the cozy which is something I absolutely love about the holiday season.  Curling up in comfy satin pjs, snuggling by the fire and sipping hot cocoa while peacefully watching the snow fall are just a few of my December favorites.  These cozy gifts pair perfectly with those things (plus they all come in beautiful shades of pink, grey and ivory).  If you are still searching for something special, any one of these would be the perfect pick for placing under the tree...or treating yourself to!  These pajamas are on my wishlist.  So dreamy and silklike.  They'll feel delicious against my skin sitting fireside this season.   A cozy scarf never gets old and this sweater gives me all the ski lodge vibes.  Who doesn't love a great candle? I know I do!  I'm also in love with this monogrammed cosmetics pouch...ahhhh so gorgeous!  Add in a cute mug and a spritz of this fragrance and you have all the right elements to set the stage for the perfect winter holiday.

Can you believe Christmas is less than ten days away!?  Enjoy a merry Monday, everyone...see you later in the week!

Hello pretties!  There is one question I get asked a lot every time I come back form a haul and it is, "What are your favorite things to buy at Sephora?"  The answer to that depends on so many factors including what's the season, what have I been wanting to try, what are my current empties and when is the next Insider event?  Enjoying that 20% off opportunity is no joke and that is the time I reserve for those big ticket items (hello DysonGHD and NuFace).  But on a regular basis I'm always refilling my cart with the basics I love and that really work for me.  This miracle in a tube is one such thing.  Drunk Elephant's sunscreen is a year-round must for me.  Non-irritating, skin-loving and cleanly made its formula is a good for your face and the SPF is for your body.  This formula is especially lovely as the soft tint melts beautifully into the skin leaving you not even needing any additional coverage if you don't want it.

Great haircare is a must and something I'm always stocking up on, especially when I find one line I love.  This is that line.  After enjoying various love affairs with other brands which I still find worthwhile, I've become faithful to the three-step system that is built upon making hair stronger from the inside out as it preserves your hair color, texture and shine.  Since I started using it a month ago, I've really seen a change!

Effective skincare at a very reasonable price is something we all want.  This somewhat newer line promises just that.  I've tried a few of their offerings so far and they reminded me of this equally affordable line which I love.  Last on my happy little list is a really good palette featuring whatever you wear the most from a line you can't live without.  For me that's this eyeshadow palette from the original beauty maven, Bobbi Brown.  Bobbi's colors are always so complimentary, and bring that the   beautiful best in every woman who wears them.  I can always spot a gorgeous Bobbi girl!

So that's the long answer to the "What to buy?" question when it comes to Sephora.  There are some other favorites I always am sure to stock up on and I've linked those below for you.  As for that highly anticipated VIB and Rogue sale, it's said to be happening again in November.  I'll be sure to share my top picks once that one goes live.

Hope sure having a beautiful day...see you on Friday!

It's no secret that clean beauty is now a thing.  It's so much more than just a simple trend, however.  With so much attention and emphasis being placed upon wellness and optimal health, it's not surprising to see skincare and beauty brand falling into line.  Personally, I can tell you I'm loving it.

The more I shop for skincare, the more options there seems to be for tightening, toning, clarifying and adding overall radiance to our skin.  And while I find this to be fantastic, I know a lot of us can also feel overwhelmed by soooo many terrific options.  That's why I wanted to take a moment to share my latest clean beauty faves that so many of you have requested.

If we look at skincare simply, there are some basic goals we all need to achieve.  These would be to cleanse, tone, balance, exfoliate, protect and hydrate.  I know, it sounds like a lot, but trust me, it really is easy to pair down and the results are beyond worth it!

My favorite way to cleanse is with a splash of micellar water to start.  It breaks down my makeup and  protects the fragile pH level of our skin.  Next I remove the day with a creamy cleansing balm or a dollop of coconut oil (which is very inexpensive and what I find works best!).  If your oil-proned you can substitute with a deeper cleansing cream. I love this one.

Toners are so nice after a wash and have really improved the overall functioning of my skin.  While I know the name sounds harsh but a great toner will effortlessly rebalance your skin's pH to banish dryness and keep oiliness in check. An extra step I like to throw in is to pat in an essence.  This one leaves my skin super soft and hydrated and ready to accept whatever I put on next.

A great moisturizer is a must and those that multitask are even better.  This Biossance version contains both squalene and probiotic which means your skin recieves ultra nourishment and the optimal form of hydration.  If a face oil is more your thing this one is my all time favorite!

Hair gets in on the clean beauty game too with an amazing number of options for treating your tresses gently from wash to style.  I've been using a co-wash in place of traditional shampoo for a while now and have never been happier.  Unlike shampoo, these gentler methods remove product and impurities without striping your hair of its natural, necessary oils.

If you're interested in trying out some of these beautiful products, I've linked them in the thumbnails below for you.  And, if you have any clean beauty favorites that you are obsessed with I'd love to know!  Thanks for stopping by beautiful friends...Have a great weekend everyone!

Having been a beauty addict since I bought my very first drugstore eyeshadow quad, I can say it's been worth the wait for the day when beauty is as beauty does.  And that day is finally here!  Where once we shopped for colors and shades that we could only hope would give us some color and coverage, today we can selectively choose products that are fresh, healthy and most of all beneficial for your body, health and skin.  While I'm not so sure why this revelation took so long, I can say for certain I couldn't be happier about it!  The trend began slowly with the emergence of vitamin C and its reputation for getting you glowing.  Retin A swept the scene as well with promises of skin smoothing properties and resurfacing wonders.  In reality, a lot of us were slapped silly with the peeling and redness to prove it.  Fast forward to the now and we are treated to a seemingly endless assortment of skincare and beauty lines that not only want to leave you looking gorgeous but benefit you and your body as well.  From skin probiotics that do for your complexion what they began doing for our tummies, to delicious concoctions that drench your hair in natural, nutritious goodness, today's beauty game is on strong.  Details of each one is going to be a post in itself but I have linked for you all the little pretties featured here from which you can choose your personal favorites.  Let me know your thoughts and questions as I love receiving your messages and bouncing ideas off you too! Hope you're having a beautiful Wednesday!

Beauty girls worldwide know exactly what I mean when I talk about the rush an incredible new beauty product can give you.  From dream creams to techno gadgets, these youth inducers are proving themselves worthy of the buzz and only getting better.  While my thoughts and findings on today's array of available products are plenty,  for this post I'm going to give the spotlight to beauty oils.  Do you remember the time when the word 'oil' was totally taboo not to mention something that should, under no circumstances ever, be placed anywhere near your face?  Times have changed and most definitely for the better.  Today when I hear the word oil it is almost always to tout a wonderful way to hydrate, nourish and ultimately age-proof your face (and hair).  I first fell in love with the promise of this version of the fountain of youth when I found Josie Maran's miracle in a bottle aka argan oil.  Since then, I've come to discover and love the myriad of other options, each designed with its own skin cocktail prescribed specifically for the way your skin and complexion are currently behaving.  Shiseido has a lovely albeit luxe version of skin replenishing oil in their cult favorite Future Solutions line.  I received a sample of it recently and loved the soft, cushioning effect it had on my skin and the hydrating lustre it gave to my hair.  Sunday Riley also has a lovely set of face oils.  Juno, their hydroactive cellular version is anti-aging in a bottle designed with doses of natural retinol, vitamin C, UV shields and natural anti-inflammatories to make skin glow while strengthening its resiliency.  At night, reach for the Luna sleeping night oil to restore moisture and reduce redness caused by daily life.  With the addition of prettifiers like cleansing oils (love this one) and primer oils, my skin will falsely presume that I've taken a permanent tropical vacay with winter nowhere in sight.  I can't find a single thing wrong with that!  Have a beautiful Wednesday!

Like so many well-known things, beauty really is a girl's best friend.  There's so much to love that it never gets old.  Today I'm highlighting the basic three elements that are the essentials when it comes to any beauty routine (skincare aside, as that is a whole other ballgame).  Lips, eyes and hair, those are the focal points everyone sees when they look at you.  I say let's make sure they always shine, sparkle and flow.

As somewhat (ok, a major) self-proclaimed beauty junkie, I find myself routinely reaching for the latest innovators while incessantly following the instagram of Eva Chen.  That girl knows a thing or two about beauty for sure.  Through it all, I am always finding new items fit for falling in love with.  This leave-in conditioner  from J.Crew is definitely on that list.  What started with RMS beauty is steadily evolving into a cult following for the much-loved by me brand.  These little charmings are also hard to resist.

Another up and coming brand that I'm really into right now is It Cosmetics.  Born out of a true entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to quality, this little powerhouse is making major headlines and gaining speed.  Everything I've tried from the line so far is fantastic.  I'm especially enjoying this brilliant little face framing brow tool.

Finally, my favorite of the moment beauty crush is the YSL lip.  It lights up the face like nothing else and looks just runway perfect.  I simply adore it.  What beauty all-stars are you loving lately?  Hope you're having a great week so far and thanks for visiting!
