TGIF! Whether you are working from home, still going to your job or just plain worn out from the week, it is time to slow it down and care for yourself. I've heard it said and it always resonates that you simply can't pour from an empty cup. There definitely comes a point where replenishment is key. Sometimes retail therapy is that key. Since we can't go to the shops, I'm bringing the shops to us. My favorite retailer, Nordstrom, is still offering some incredible ways to save major money. These black distressed jeans are one of my current faves. I love them so many ways from casual to contemporary and anything in between! These slides...enough said. I'm also loving the feel of an oversized jacket with denim picking up this spring where winter wool left off. This tote has been one of my longtime loves and is still the bag I can always recommend. The colors are so classic yet the feel is totally on trend. Sunnies are always a constant and now that spring is here, I'm thinking of adding this pair to my collection. Finally, springtime scents are some of the most beautiful fragrances you'll find. This one smells incredible with all the gorgeous and flirty feels we all love.

Happy Monday everyone! I hope your week is off to a fantastic start towards whatever your goals to meet may be. The lace up flat is showing up everywhere right now and with good, no make that great, reason. With the looks of a haute favorite yet the comfort and versatility of your Supergas, this shoe is everything right now. I bought my first pair last spring and my only regret was I didn't scoop it up in more colors as it sold out almost instantly. Now with spring on the cusp, it's showing up in more colors and prints than ever right now. I've already gone ahead and added this pair and this one to my closet. I love how they look great with your boyfriend jeans and cropped faux fur and can just as easily play dress up with your favorite LBD of the m,omen. Happy Monday loves! I hope you had a fun-filled weekend enjoying all your favorite things. Can you believe it's February already? Wow, time moves quickly and that means Valentine's Day is almost here too! With that in mind, today I put together some little pink pretties that say über feminine and would be perfect for some pre-holiday fun. Blush suede is quite possibly my favorite hue of all time but that's another story. For today, let's look at some of the loveliest ways to get girlie. This sweater caught my eye and it's no wonder. Pale pink, ruffles and a flattering fit, is there anything more to ask for? Haha. I'd love it paired with this sweet skirt and this demurely sexy pair of lace up flats. Speaking of which, these underpinnings are too pretty to pass up. This bra is amazing and is on major SALE (as in 70 % off!). There's something so beautifully serene about shades of blue. Like calming ocean waters, this hue can bring you instant peace and tranquility. Pair them with similar shades of grey and accent the two with some gold sparkle and you're in wardrobe dreamland. Some pieces I'm enjoying right now and throughout summer's stay are this pin dot and paisley shirtdress, these classic earrings and my favorite fitbit. Once the days get cooler, I'll be coveting more textured pieces like this amazing feather trimmed coat and this luxe work tote. For as long as I can remember, I've had an ongoing love affair with the handbag. All shapes and sizes have won my heart over time but right now it is the mini bag that has all of my attention. Small, chic and always ready to grab and go, these little luxuries are of the moment and gaining momentum. Their appeal has not gone unnoticed by designer faves. Tory Burch, Loeffler Randall, Kate Spade, Ted Baker and Rebecca Minkoff {just to name a few!} have each embraced the trend with some of the sweetest little bags around. What I like most is the way they add just the right touch of ladylike charm to nearly any outfit. Layering is a chic and simple way to create a look that is both of-the-moment and uniquely your own. Today I've decided to highlight that very element as seen done so effortlessly by favorite blogger, Blair Eadie of Atlantic-Pacific. Blair takes staple pieces and adds bits of brilliance to create this sweetly demure spring look. What's really wonderful about this way of styling is that you often don't need to replenish your wardrobe but rather discover clever ways to reinvent it. Here are a few uncomplicated tips for creating lovely layered looks...

[ONE: Start with What You Already Own] Have a favorite dress or top that you feel is 'strictly summer'? Pull out those favorite pieces, the brighter the better. See which ones carry a neutral or versatile feel (yes, colors can be worn as neutrals now) and hold them aside for now.

[TWO: Pick Out Your Favorite Blouses and Knit Tees] Which one of us doesn't have a collection of much-loved layering tees or blouses? That's the good news. The problem arises when we get stuck in the mode of feeling like we can only wear them as defining pieces instead of beautiful accents.

[THREE: Mix and Match] Now here's where some of us need to leave our comfort zone and simply play. Don't be afraid to mix what might seem like mismatched pairs. It's often these very pieces that come together with the most pizazz. The pairing of this black and white three-quarter length sleeve tee with this far from casual colorful cap sleeve dress perfectly shows how unexpected choices lead to uniquely beautiful outcomes.
