Weekly Wednesday inspo has been so much fun lately.  It's likely due to all the extra fun options the spring season provides.  One thing trending majorly right now are the ever classic favorite.....stripes.  I've always been a fan of this all-American look and something about this navy and white combo just says pre-summer getaway.  This pattern plays well with both our favorite casual and feminine looks.  It also turns out to be the just-right accent for a cute clutch or carryall tote.  No matter your taste or whatever suits your style, stripes can find a happy place in your wardrobe.  I've linked my favorite striped pieces below for you to shop.  Hope your week is wonderful so far....Thanks so much for stopping by!

To those who know me, it's really no secret that I am a self-proclaimed Francophile.  I'm completely enamored with the culture, style and feel of the beloved city of lights.  Some of the most iconic looks in fashion today are born of French descent.  Everything from le stripe boatneck tops to classic ballet flats, French women simply embody the essence of style while never falling prey to the trappings of style.  Minimalism may be one reason why.  It's often said that the French girl's closet doesn't exceed ten key pieces max.  For summer I can pair that down to five.  A few great dresses (loving this one, this one and this one too), a striped tee, a pair of well fitted denim, a chic sandal and an important everyday bag.  Really, it's as simple as that.  Doesn't that just make life so deliciously simple?   You shop French-inspired styles below {many of them are on sale now…don't miss it!}

It may only be the turn of the page but once August shows up, I instantly get a sense of autumn being on the way.  With it will come new looks and old favorites worn in ways that make everything feel fresh for the new season.  One trend I've been following is fringe  everything.  Admittedly, my most often reached for way to wear it has been on a handbag (I so adore Rebecca Minkoff's take on it and this one by Frye.  Irresistibly incredible!) Or a great pair of ankle boots like these.  There are still so many other ways to incorporate the look into any outfit you choose.  With cooler temps becoming the norm, I'm already dreaming of sweaters and think this off the shoulder crocheted fringe number would look so adorable paired with a flowing maxi dress right now and then a pair of denim skinnies and these boots later on.  Also on my radar are these fringed ankle strap heels.  They'd be so chic with a pencil skirt, soft-fitting silk blouse and this clutch or quite fetching paired with some boyfriend denim, a classic white blouse and fur vest.  Toss this necklace on with it and you'll have completely rounded out the tomboy meets glamour girl look.  If anyone wants to take this trend full on then I'd say go for a great-fitting leather or suede fringe-trimmed jacket.  The color choices are amazing and this kind of piece can be worn late summer over white capris or a skirt and later on with black skinnies or some rich dark washed denim. Loop a colorful scarf around your neck and say hello to a fall date night.  For more fun ideas and picks pictured here you can shop the links below.  Hope everyone's having a great week so far!

In honor of the French's celebration of Bastille Day, I've drawn upon Parisian perfection and put together a collection of my favorite French-inspired looks.  The staples of French girl style are simple and elegant which is why they come together so stunningly.  The simplicity of it all is what I find so alluring and surprisingly easy to emulate.  These five pieces are really all you need to complete the look.  A striped tee…preferably done in navy or black and white this piece can be dressed up (hello pencil skirt) or down (think boyfriend jeans) and always looks right.  The skinny white pant…we're not talking skintight but just fitted enough to complement your curves.  A classic jacket…it's the understated piece that never fades and ties the look together.  A chic little clutch…aka the world of Clare Vivier.  Need I say more?  Black sunnies…protecting your eyes while looking camera ready, what could be better.  But seriously, French women know their way around their closet and the beauty counter which is why their skin remains baby-soft and oh-so fair decades past their teens and twenties.

Hope you're feeling inspired by this French girl style as much as I am.  If so, you can try putting together your own look with the items below.  Happy Wednesday!

The peplum top is such a flattering piece complimentary to all shapes and sizes.  The ladylike glamour of this shilouette gives a nod to the Madmen era and speaks volumes of one's grace and style.  What's even more wonderful is the endless array of style options this pretty little thing possesses.  I wore this one with white cropped denim skinnies and these sandals (on sale!) for a super casual look.  I'm also adoring this one from Anthropologie (they have the best selection!).  Wouldn't it be fabulous paired up with a great pair of ink blue palazzo pants, chic clutch and wide brim hat?  So glam.  I don't know about you  but I can't get enough of lace.  Pairing it with a peplum is even better.  This white option is so sweet and perfect for summer outings.  It would be so perfect worn with pinstripe shorts, casual sandals and a big caramel leather tote.  You look cute and feel completely comfortable, win win!  These  looks and more are all linked below.  Hope you all are having a wonderful week!

Happy Monday everyone!  While going back to the work scene can be hard sometimes, it doesn't have to be boring.  The very basic blazer is anything but when you pair in completely unexpected ways.  While some may not be wear-to-work ready, a few simple tweaks will take you there.  This white Benisa blazer is great with jeans and a white tee but can just as easily go to work by switching out your boyfriend denim for these chic bottoms and the t-shirt for a silk cami.  Layering works wonders too especially during these cooler mornings before the sun heats things up.  Try pairing a monochromatic skirt and tank with an easy-fitting chambray shirt and this blazer to top it all off.  Such a great look that can easily take you anywhere.  Add some personality to it all with a fun hat (loving this one and this one too) and a stylish little clutch like this one (seriously though can Clare Vivier ever go wrong?).  Other ways to freshen up an otherwise ordinary wardrobe staple is with a fun backpack, a pair of shorts, these sneakers or by simply tossing it over your shoulders.  That is my favorite look of all.  What is your wardrobe basic worn your way?

Happy Wednesday! Every girl looks forward to pulling out those great little pieces that say "Hello, spring!"  For me, one of those would be anything and everything off-the-shoulder. Whether it's a great top, sundress or beach cover up, this look is one I'm adoring right now.  This bell sleeve shift dress is darling in white and would work as a dress or with a cute pair of shorts too (loving these).  This tassel trimmed option is just a little longer and could easily double as a chic cover up poolside.  I'm imagining it with a silk scarf posing as a headband, these sandals, some big round sunnies and my favorite girlie drink.  I also think the look can easily be worn as a daytime fave too.  I'm so in love with this blush O-T-S crinkle top.  Both the color and lace detailing along the top had me saying yes from the first time I saw it.  A printed peasant blouse version could take you to cocktails at sunset.  I'd definitely pair this one with a perfect fit pair of white jeans, these wedge sandals and this clutch.

These pieces and the ways to style them are only a few of the options I'm currently craving.  I've linked more pretty little pieces in the thumbnails below.  Enjoy!

In honor of Friday, today I've put together some key pieces that would be perfect for a spring weekend.  I love this striped t-shirt dress and its nautical vibe (this one's great too).  I can definitely see wearing it for a sunny Saturday stroll or perusing the farmer's market on Sunday morning.  It's soft and easy and pairs well with some other equally laid-back items.  A great cropped denim jacket, for example, which is a must-own piece to have in your closet.  It goes with absolutely everything and can be either dressed up or dressed down.  When it comes to a look built on basic neutrals, nothing punches things up like a bold pop of color.  I happen to adore red as an accent hue.  Whether it's in the form of a gorgeous lipstick or high shine mani-pedi, this classic color is always right.  Now, any casual outfit just wouldn't be complete without a few luxe accessories giving it that high-low feel.  This Kate Spade watch is simply adorable and likely goes with nearly everything you already own.  To be honest, it's the red spade that I just can't get enough of…so darling!  I also always reach for this clutch by Clare Vivier.  Her pieces are all amazing and will mix and match with what's already in your wardrobe.

I hope you all have a great weekend and would love to know your favorite spring go-to styles!

Happy Friday! Nothing says 'start of the weekend' like my favorite pair of boyfriend jeans.  The broken-in denim is comfortable, current and somehow surprisingly chic when paired with the right tops and tees.  While it's still cold, I love grabbing a chunky turtleneck and throwing it on over these denim faves.  Then add a pair of great heels (seriously craving this pair), a killer clutch and you have that perfect blend of high-low and unexpected chic.  Early spring days are begging for a sleek jacket like this layered over a long sleeve tee that effortlessly skims the boyfriend silhouette.  On warmer days, I'm also adoring this lace embellished tee and a cute little cropped jacket.

Have a wonderful weekend!
