I was going through my closet the other day can to one resounding conclusion.  I've never met a neutral I didn't love.  From creams and ivories to cognacs and cocoas, it seems I can never have too many of the caramel, tan or cinnamon variety. 

Lucky for me, fall is all about such spiced neutrals along with their cozy counterparts aka sage, loden and smoke.  I don't quite know what it is but each of these colors stirs up notions of enjoying a cozy fireside and sipping a cup of cocoa and cream in me.

This sweater dress could be the perfect centerpiece of all things fall.  First of all the color is exactly right for pairing with warm autumn hues or seasonal plaids.  Tall or short boots would be equally wonderful depending upon your climate and how much skin can you comfortably bare.

This sweater is another favorite of mine.  The color, the feel and of course the shoulder detail make me a happy girl.  It's perfect for layering and works with jeans, a midi skirt or plaid trousers.  Love it all ways.

Warm and cozy accessories round things out so well.  How cute is this hat?  I know I usually favor the newsboy cap or a cute beanie but this one adds a new bit of interest to the look.  This scarf is one of my classic go-tos and has been a longtime favorite of mine.  I'm also strongly considering this bag.  I think it's absolutely gorgeous and can't imagine too many style scenarios it wouldn't be well-suited for.  Don't you agree? Haha.

These flats have become a fall favorite for me lately and all my sweaters and jeans agree.  Rose-gold and tortoise shell are romantic options that always complement the classics.  Maybe that's why I love them so.  Style that is simple yet stunning and chic will always have my heart.

Who would have ever dreamed that the beloved beauty phrase of "I'm doing a mask" would have morphed into an entirely different meaning here in 2020.  Before when someone mentioned that they were having a glass of wine and putting on a mask on a Sunday night, I knew it was in reference to a bit of lovely self-care.  And now...well, we all know the connotation at this point.

But, that does not mean that the love of a really great skincare mask has wained.  These beauties are still the way I love to end my weekend.  And they come in all varieties made to pamper and satisfy all of our skincare needs.

This one from Tatcha is perhaps my most favorite tried and true.  First of all, is there anything that this brand can't do perfectly? I love them for so many reasons as you already know if you have read some of my beauty posts before.  The reasons I enjoy this sheet mask so much are the hydration it imparts and the nutrition that it provides my skin.  Both of which I can see and feel immediately after using it.  It is also important to know, that this mask provides a superfood rich dose of serum directly to my skin.  K beauty you slay me.

Speaking of K beauty, I cannot be without this life-changing lip mask.  I first received it as a gift two Christmases ago and have not gone a day without it since.  The color and scent are both so appealing but beyond the aesthetics, I am obsessed with the soft, plump and pillowy lips it gives me.  Even with a daily indulgence, it lasts forever.  If you have never tried it, I highly recommend!

This next one made Sisley famous.  I mean, it isn't like the luxe brand had any problem gaining a notable following but this little tube made them iconic.  So what's all the fuss about?  Well, black rose and instant youth might have a little bit to do with it, haha.  Anytime I've used it, my skin comes away soft, glowy, completely revitalized and perfectly refreshed, Yes, it's a bit of a splurge but well worth the investment on something so highly effective that you can do right at home.

I also love this clean beauty detox option from Caudalie.  If your skin is looking lackluster and feeling the effects of too many environmental stressors, I suggest giving this one a try.  I love how the natural ingredients work in sync with my skin to gently resurface the top layer, tighten pores and remove impurities without any irritation at all.

It's wonderful Wednesday and the start of a new month which means another chance to begin a new hobby, take on a new challenge or simply add an unexpected element to your everyday routine.  Our fashion choices fall under that umbrella quite perfectly and can so often be a fun and simple way to spice up your day to day.  One easy but highly impactful way to do this is with amazing animal prints.  From the smallest touches to the grand scale, a bit of leopard (or cheetah) goes a long way.  Styling this look may be far easier than you ever dreamed.  For me, my favorite go-to option is to build a look based upon neutrals and top it with an animal print like this.  Even blue denim and shades of cream can be elevated to lovely when paired with a chic jacket like this.  Add in a pair of colorful flats and great leather bag and you are lunch date ready (for that and more!).  I've linked my favorite animal print pieces for your shopping pleasure below.  What do you think of the trend?

Happy 2017!  The new year is full of fresh promise, dreams and hope as I'm sure we all have our own special few.  It's also a great time to clean your closet, refresh your wardrobe and refine your style for the new adventures ahead.  In doing that myself I discovered some key prints, pieces and style items I'm definitely going to keep moving forward into the new year.  My favorite? This pink winter coat!  The sweetest way to stay warm while looking sweet all winter long.  I'm also still loving the military style jacket, fan pleat skirts, flared denim and leopard print pieces.  So fun, so fresh and somehow classically inspired.  Perhaps that's exactly why they work so well.  I'm beyond excited to start January fresh with all my favorites by my side.  I can't wait to see all the wonderful places this year takes us and am beyond grateful to have you all by my side.  Wishing you peace, love, joy and happiness in 2017...May all your wishes come true!!

Happy 2017!  The new year is full of fresh promise, dreams and hope as I'm sure we all have our own special few.  It's also a great time to clean your closet, refresh your wardrobe and refine your style for the new adventures ahead.  In doing that myself I discovered some key prints, pieces and style items I'm definitely going to keep moving forward into the new year.  My favorite?
