Hello and Happy Friday!  There's something about the beautiful month of June that always makes me just so very happy.  It the absolute perfect month for so many events and all the weddings, parties, celebrations and well, life,  that we missed out on last year are happening now and in a big way.  And I have to tell you that yes, I'm a little excited!

Another June favorite of mine is the beach weekend.  I absolutely love nothing more this time of year than  the thought of sandy beaches, salty breezes and blazing summer sunsets with which to fall in love.  Today's post is dedicated to all of those things with some easy pieces that every beach bag needs right now.  

Naturally, the swimsuit immediately comes to mind.  Do you remember the days of being a kid and wanting nothing more than to jump right into your favorite one and spend the day soaking up all the sunshine?  Well, you can still find the perfect suit to fit you with just a little determination.  This site and store are where I go every single summer to find the suits that seem custom made for me.  Whatever your personal trouble spots are, they will have suit to solve them.

May is on the move and although the East coast feels more like the tunrda than it does Tahitian, summer is really not all that far away.  That means, beaches, summer sails, poolsides and the need for oh so many swimsuits, haha.  Actually, no matter how many I acquire, there's always room for more it seems.  This year, I am taking things in a bit of a different direction and loving all things maillot.  The look of this style one piece is so classically glam and just so chic.  I'm especially loving the crocheted styles I'm seeing lately and everything white.  One place that is filled with glam little pieces is Anthropologie.  So well known for their love of all things vintage, their swim collection is no exception.  If you have an extra five or ten (or fifty!) minutes to spare be sure to hop on over there and check out the goodies.  This suit is top on my list.  Which is yours?  You can shop all my other favorite picks below.  Hope your week is off to a lovely start!

Out of all the types of shopping we girls are likely to do, it seems that the one type we'd rather not entertain is swimsuit shopping.  Not to worry!  Today it is easy to find exactly what you're looking for (or at least get reasonably close) and you can even get most of the job done without ever having to set foot inside the dressing room.  Take a look here at some of the styles I found that stylishly address some of the everygirl concerns.

 Yes, I know....you are looking at this one thinking HOW could this suit help me?  This particular one is designed to help those who are in search of a little enhancement up top while sporting an easy to wear option.  The bandeau style is perfect for petite on top gals as it fits well on smaller sizes.  The colorful zig zag pattern visually adds more where there is less making this style a great choice for those looking to enhance the bustline.

 Now this sweet number does a triple play as it adds volume on top, covers anything we don't like on the bottom half and looks darling and cute while doing so.  I especially like the retro/nautical feel this navy and white two piece embodies as it  reminds me of the pin-up days gone by.

 Another retro-inspired look.  This one reflects the images made iconic by Marilyn Monroe and Grace Kelly.  The halter top draws the eye up and shapes the bustline nicely while the polka dots provide a whimsical feel and distract the eye from potential trouble spots.

 These blue and yellow and black and white suits both speak to the "I'm in shape and I love it" girls and would look fantastic on a trimmed torso and those who are petite to average busted.  If that's you I say give it a go!
