Casual has become the new uniform and honestly, I am quite thrilled about that.  While I'll likely always be someone who loves getting dressed and putting outfits together, I think that the more low-key vibes we are seeing are really something we can all be happy about.  No matter your personal taste or favorite way of styling yourself, less pretense means more authentic styles which is honestly one of the main reasons I fell in love with fashion in the first place.

With spring finally making an appearance, I thought it might be time to begin styling some of my warmer weather favorites in anticipation of what's to come.  Thankfuly, many of us may be planning to spend more time in so many of the fun places we remember enjoying and these pieces here will be perfect for that.

Let's talk first about this shirtdress.  This piece has been something we've seen year after year yet somehow it never seems to loose its allure.  I happen to like it styled a bunch of different ways.  From  wearing it with a classic pair of summer sandals and a neutral tote bag to throwing it on with a jacket and a pair of trainers, there really is no wrong way to go.

Neutrals, you know, are my favorite wardrobe staple and light colored jeans really earn their spot in my closet all spring and summer long.  Now, whether you prefer white or a perhaps easier on the eye shade of cream, this is still going to be a piece that will pair quite nicely with so much of what you already own and  love to wear daily.

This sleeveless summer sweater is something I find absolutely adorable and is completely versatile which I love.  It would be the perfect thing to reach for with these trousers as well as really cute worn over a nice midi length skirt with some summer slides and this hat.

Balance everything out with a great looking handbag that you can easily mix and match with several different outfits and you have enough pieces to build several casual looks with.

Monday always seems like a good day to start with the simple.  That's true for outfit options too.  A few easy pieces are sometimes all it takes to create a look you love.  These soft shades and a nod to spring are exactly what I'm craving right now.

White denim is back in the fold.  Honestly, did it ever leave? Haha, so glad those old rules no longer apply and this pair is one reason why.  I love how easy they are to wear with just about everything and become the perfect backdrop for prints, neutrals or bright, bold pieces.  Such a classic look and I really love them styled with the creams and cognacs you see here.

I don't know about you but I'm already thinking about my spring jacket collection and refreshing a few pieces.  One option I always love having though is a gorgeous trenchcoat.  Black and tan both work beautifully on everyone but my true favorite is the tried and true camel version.  Double-breasted and belted, it is a foolproof piece that adds a touch of classic style to any look.

Once you've built your outfit of the day, nothing's better than finishing it off with your favorite added touches.  I've always loved accessories and now I realize why.  They are the easiest and most fun way to add your personality to whatever you are wearing.  For me that means sunnies (obsessed with this pair right now) of course, my favorite sneakers and a classic handbag.

Blue hues captivate me quite unlike any other.  From wardrobe to home decor, the elements of their gorgeous beauty are striking and plenty.  Nautical vibes always shout springtime and this gauzy sweater in white and navy stripes would be perfect for a late season walk along the beach.  This denim jacket is also on my list of closet refreshers.  Its lighter, slightly distressed look and easy, fresh fit feel make it just right for updating your look right now.  These booties are also perfect for transitioning from the freezing temps to the slowly warming temps.  I especially love the way they look with these white jeans (a definite must-have!)  If you know me at all then you also know that I have such a soft spot for summer dresses and flirty skirts.  This Tory Burch blue and white beach dress is a little bit of a splurge but so effortlessly chic.  I'm also loving this similar style at only a fraction of the cost and absolutely adorable. I can't forget the importance and well, if I'm honest, downright addictiveness of color saturated shoes and accessories.  These wedges are showing up everywhere and it's definitely easy to see why.  I can't get enough of the bucket bag either and this blue version would be beautiful paired with those spring and summer whites.
