Happy Monday friends!  The week is new and to me that's the perfect time to reach for a fresh look that will get you feeling ready.  Gingham is a summertime go-to and these sweet looks show us exactly why.    Feminine, classic and fresh this look always reminds me of summers in New England complete with clambakes, bonfires and beach blankets.  This dress would be so cute with easy slides and a pretty straw tote or clutch.  Soft shades of pink on the lips and eyes are the perfect complement to the look and these sunnies round it all out.  Once the weekend rolls around, a retro-style check swimsuit and darling little topknot take over.  That was a fast M -F now wasn't it? Midweek happens and with it comes the need for some major Wednesday inspo.  Today I'm loving the latest in late summer tops and bottoms.  Whether you're a girlie girl or tomboy at heart, these looks will take you effortlessly into September.  This top is so very darling as it combines two of my favorite things...off the shoulder and gingham.  What could be better? I'm also seriously eyeing everything cropped and all things flared when it comes to bottoms.  These pants are so flattering on all body types and can be paired in any way you wish to make the most of what your mama gave ya.  While summer may be waning, style is forever gaining momentum.  Make the most of it!  Have a wonderful day everyone!

I've always been a fan of gingham from the time I was a little girl who fell in love with fashion.  Now the once preppy staple has gone glam via chic skirts, curve enhancing jackets and shorts and the always alluring well-cut button-down, styled as anything but boring.  I recently wore this black and white midi skirt to a friend's bridal shower.  I paired it with a cropped black lace top and a colorful clutch for just the right amount of daytime drama.  This waist cinching bow-detailed top is just so adorable and would look amazing with a navy pencil skirt and nude pumps or a super chic pair of tonal pants (loving these!)  This lovely little yellow gingham dress is the perfect chic piece for those Nantucket Sundays coming up.  This white window-pane version is also on my radar and so is this check romper.
 Glam goes casual too with these sweet gingham shorts and this off the shoulder top (yes, I'm obsessed!).  Both would be wonderful options to bring along on those summer seaside escapes.

Happy Monday!  The weekend's chill and NYFW F/W 2015 may have us looking towards bundling up but my thoughts are happily looking towards springtime.  Today I am sharing some happy little bits of sunshine that I'm currently craving (along with warmer weather!).  This gingham tunic is so darling and perfect in so many ways.  I'm planning on wearing the look with a sweet pair of ballet flats in a cheery color (think cherry or fuscia), a straw tote and these sunnies.  I can't ever seem to get enough of pastel colors and when spring comes around that need translates into gorgeous heels and leather accessories.  This wallet is so dreamy.  Sweet fragrances are also a must-have for me.  This Jo Malone fragrance is so garden fresh and this philosophy shower cream is beyond delicious.  As if I wasn't ready enough before, these spring picks have me wishing it was here!  You can shop all these pieces above or in the thumbnails below.
