Monday is here and with her she's brought a laidback vibe that's just right for vacay mode.  Denim and blues are the perfect way to capture the mood of the moment and take you anywhere you want to go.  Cute tops and high-waisted denim are lifelong partners in summertime dressing.  This one is so chic and easy and would be equally stunning paired with a long white skirt and Grecian sandals as well.  Denim jumpers will soon be all the transitional rage.  I love this one paired with a cute tee and some fun slip-ons like these right now.  Gold accents and a swipe of nude are all you need to finish up the look.  And with easy does it being the theme, what could be better?

Want to know the absolute easiest way to punch up any ordinary outfit and make it off-the-page pretty?   Add the right accessories while mixing up patterns, prints and fabrics.  They simplest way that I like to start is with a great looking scarf.  Plaid is my fall favorite and I'm loving this one.  I love it with solids (think cashmere crewnecks or a soft chambray shirt).  I also think it looks unexpectedly fresh paired with stripes and topped with a soft, buttery leather jacket (authentic or faux).  The suppleness of the leather, boldness of the stripe and the bright happiness of the scarf make for the perfect cool weather look that works wonderfully with ankle boots or tall boots alike.  Something about it just shouts "pumpkin picking on the weekend" coupled with steamy hot cider and sweet cinnamon donut.  Grab your favorite guy, all wrapped up in cozy and you're ready for fall fun.  Hope your weekend includes some of these festive little details.  Have a great Friday!

From the time of greasers and pink ladies, the 'blue jean' has long been known as the effortlessly cool go-to item everyone wanted in their wardrobe.  Since then, things have only gotten better.  Now, not only do we love to wear our skinnies, boyfriends and cut-offs more ways than Tory has shoes, but we also enjoy pairing them with our chambray blouses, cropped jean jackets and sweetly perfect graphic tees.  Truly, any wardrobe staple that can span that many decades, is iconic in its own right.
