 Does all of this February snow have you running for your warmest, coziest layers? Me too but that doesn't mean they can't be comfy and still look cute.  With all the white stuff showing up everywhere lately, my mind turns to easy neutrals that spotlight the very best of winter.  

A cuddly teddy coat leads the way for me. I mean what could be better than the soft, cozy warmth these beauties provide?  This cream colored option is so beautiful and works effortlessly with both neutrals and any patterns or pops of color your wardrobe favors.

Pairing it with other easy to wear shades is where things get fun.  I love contrasting whites and ivories with ebonies and greys and then adding in a bit of interest via my accessories.  These loafers might not be the most winter friendly but if you live in a climate that is not so snowy they'd be a great choice.  Otherwise, I just change out of my boots and into these if need be.

I'm also in love with this bag shown here today.  I got it as a gift at Christmas and loveeee everything about it! From the versatility when wearing it to the way it just goes with nearly everything I own, it's definitely a keeper. It is no longer available but this one is a similar choice with even more room inside.

Shades of cooca like this hat and these shadows so beautifully round out the rest of this look for me.  Gosh, I've always adored neutrals but now I know why.  These palettes make it so that everything works effortlessly with everything else.  You just have to grab the pieces you're wanting to wear that day and go. I'm truly a lover of seasons so, unlike so many, I actually enjoy cold weather and winter and am excitedly awaiting another opportunity for snow! Even if you are not a fan of winter whiteouts, chances are if you live somewhere that the temperature dips then you're going to want some cute ways to look adorable while staying warm.  Today's post is all about how to do that and these are a few of my top picks to help get you started.

I think we've all come to discover that cozy is the new...everything.  None of us want to let that go and happily we don't have to.  This jogger set is exactly what I'm reaching for on winter weekends or anytime I simply want chic comfort.  Speaking of that, these sneakers have been in my rotation for the past several months and I don't foresee that changing anytime soon, haha.  Pair them with a flattering puffer (yes, the do exist and this one is my fave), a fun pom pom beanie and these sunnies and you are ready for a laidback Saturday.

When venturing out and wanting to capture that chalet chic vibe, the Fairisle feel is my favorite choice.  This version is a modern take on the classic and the pink option makes it an easy choice for me, haha.  I also love this one in cream and black.  Jeans are always an important element of any casual look all year round and this pair is tried and true.  Easy to wear and perfectly put together looking equals the win-win.  Comfy slipper shoes for around the house and cozy snow boots for time outside are each the perfect complement to the whole look.  A roomy tote is always a must no matter where I'm going and Longchamp has some the best classic styles.  I'm especially fond of this beautiful grey one.  

Last but perhaps most important, I have come to find that journaling is not only a productive past time, it also helps clear the cobwebs and gets me thinking much more clearly and with purpose and focus which is something I am always happy to have.  This gorgeous pink one from Papier is a beautiful option for scribbling down those seemingly random thoughts that always somehow paint a very clear picture.  If you haven't gotten into this habit and want to clarify things in your life,  it is definitely something I highly recommend.

Happy first weekend of 2018!  It's certainly been a freezing cold start to the New Year here on the East coast with plenty of snow to go with it.  Now that the weekend is here, I'm forward to all these cute ways to style my off-duty looks.  The all-star player being the pom-pom beanie with everything else being paired around it.  Cozy, chunky, soft sweaters are my go-to for those days when all you want to do is snuggle up and stay warm.  This one is perfection to me and currently a steal at 40% off.  I also love this pair of charcoal denim.  They are super comfortable and work effortlessly with so many sweaters, cardis and blouses I own.  I don't know about you guys but I am obsessed with these boots.  They are the classic combo of urban menswear meets glam girl chic and I am loving them.  Top it all off with this fun piece from J. Welcome to Monday lovelies and if you had any question before this, welcome to winter.  The temps in nyc were freezzzzzzing this weekend and the cold weather wardrobe picks were in full-on mode.  I always say that I couldn't ever live where there weren't any seasons.  Super cold moments like these sometimes have me questioning that thought, haha.  Actually though, I think that the brisk breezes are so very invigorating (especially after a super-intense workout) and the backdrop of snow-covered branches against the bright blue sky is completely awe-inspiring.  Of course, I'm also loving all the layers, knit toppers and fuzzy-filled fashion going on right now.  Some of my current favorites include this parka, pom pom hats and fun faux fur pieces like this one.
