Hello ladies!  So July is here and so are beach days, barbecues and poolside parties.  With that, I always find that must-haves include cute swimsuits, Panama hats, an effective sunscreen and a cute pair of cutoffs.  I've included some of each in today's post.  These two swimsuits (here and here) are both absolutely darling and way beyond affordable.  This adorable hat is on major sale (aka under $20!!) Well hello, weekend!  It's Friday and that means all things wonderful, including denim on repeat.  This is always a fun thing but what has me racing to my closet now is the return of the flare.  Figure flattering, seventies chic and get-it right glam, this silhouette loves every body and we in turn feel the same.  That said, there are so many ways to wear them that we could add an eighth day to the week and never bat an eye.  I think my favorite look for spring is the sailor pant version aka long and slimming, high-waisted and adorned with  military-inspired buttons up the sides.  Pairing it with a relaxed chiffon blouse {playfully tucked in to show off the button detailing}, a pretty pair of sandals and the perfect pop of color handbag to punctuate the entire look.  Perfect!  Cropped flares, a shrunken bomber jacket, sexy clutch and pair of kitten heel slings backs say Girl Boss off-duty but never out of mode.  Aaaaah, is it spring yet?  For now, I'm reaching for a black pair, mohair sweater, blazer and knit beanie.  Weekend love, here I come!  Enjoy yours and thanks for reading!  xx

Fit to be Flared

Happy Monday! A new season brings new looks and for me that (old is new again) look is the flared leg pant.  The entire 70's glam look is grabbing me right now.  I love it for so many reasons.  One being how this silhouette flatters all figures giving instant hourglass.  Increasing the options is the fact that they're not just showing up in denim right now.  On the contrary, they're coming to play in colors and cords as well as dressier silk styles perfect for a night out.  This pair would actually look amazing worn with a long line vest or  a crop top and fitted jacket (more affordable option here).  I also want to give these camel cords a try.  They are the perfect chic neutral and work beautifully with grey, ivory, black and charcoal.  Of course, if you're a true denim girl the options are endless.  My favorite pairs are these from Joe's Jeans, Paige denim and Frame.  Shop more great picks below…

If you haven't heard, today's the day…the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale officially opens to the public.  Be warned though, some items have already been completely scooped up and others are going fast.  While I already blogged about it here when Early Access began, with the doors opening to non-cardholders as well today, I couldn't resist sharing more of what I'm getting and what I'm craving right now.  These western style booties are so cute and will be perfect with fall's plaid blouses and chunky sweaters.   A great jacket is what can tie a look all together and is the first piece I always want come autumn.  This shawl collar skirted coat has my attention and is perfect for so many reasons.  The color is one of fall's gorgeous neutrals, the shape is absolutely flattering and it's on major sale (hello 40% off!).  This striped sweater dress (under $45!), these flared jeans (so happy they're back!) and this unbelievable travel makeup palette are some of my other must-haves this go around.  With such deep discounts on so many designer favorites and fantastic fall pieces, I suggest stocking up.
