For most of us I think that summertime dressing is all about the everyday easy.  These pieces here today are all simple wardrobe staples that are going to work effortlessly together to create multiple looks, each one perfect for a summery day.  

Delicate florals are a smart place to start.  The pattern is always appropriate and the looks they create can easily become a bit dressed up or down depending upon the mood of the day.  This lovely little blouse is just right for summer and works with everything from Bermuda shorts and sandals to a blazer and maxi skirt.  

Summer knits are also something I can never get enough of.  Whether it be unpredictable weather patterns or the chill of the air conditioning, I always like opportunity to have a way to add a little light cover if I'm ever needing a bit of warmth.  

Sandals, slides and straw totes are my standbys as you likely know by now, haha.  All neutrals all the time of course as they provide the easiest ways to build a variety of outfits from just a few key pieces.

Happy Friday loves!  The first weekend of spring is here and no matter what the weather feels like where you are, I'm thinking it's time to embrace the pretty new season.  To me, there's no better way to start doing that than with the addition of some sweet florals, soft colors and feminine feeling details.  This crepe coat is such a gorgeous piece, perfect for those days when it's not quite warm enough to go  without a topper but you've bid farewell to your winter look.  This top is such a multitasker.  I can see it working nine to five paired with a black or white pencil skirt and playing coy at the wine bar with some boyfriend denim and sexy little shoe.  Add a little sparkle with some shimmer powder (I love this brand!) or a fun timepiece like this one.  With so many beautiful options it's no wonder we are so in love with spring!  Wishing you all a fabulous Friday and happy weekend!

Maybe it's the longing for spring or the fact that this winter has been just so long, no matter the reason I find myself falling in love with florals.  What began as a passing interest last summer has evolved into full-on love affair.  It seems I'm not alone in this lovely obsession as flirty flowers are showing up just about everywhere.

One thing I love about this pattern is that it can be worn in so many beautiful ways meaning, there's going to be an option for everyone.  Options that femininly run from the casual everyday to the glamorous big night.  Chrissy Teigen was a gorgeous example of this in her Monique Lhuillier Oscar gown as it powerfully radiated bold romance.

My favorite thing among the many, however, is the wonderful way you can wear it casual or glam.  From a cute cropped top paired with high-waisted harems to the most ladylike garden party frock, a floral fantasy will always leave you looking lovely.
