SPRING FAVORITES

Springtime is the perfect time to embrace your girly side and what better way to do that than with pretty peplums and feminine florals?  While these two styles are currently trending, they also carry with them a distinct presence and feel of old Hollywood glamour.  Style icons like Grace Kelly, Ava Gardner and Hedy Lamarr each possessed that ladylike grace and poise upon which glamour is now based.  Today we look to current fashion faves  like Kate Middleton and Michelle Obama to keep the classic tradition going.  Looking lovely in their own right and representing each of these looks are favorite fellow bloggers, Rach Parcell of The Pink Peonies and Emily Jackson from The Ivory Lane.  Rachel takes the look in a very demure direction as she pairs peplum with a floaty floral dress cleverly worn as a skirt, nude heels and a gorgeous caramel bag.  Emily puts a punchy twist on it by placing her peplum atop floral denim skinnies and sleek black heels.
