Art and self-expression have long been beautiful passions of mine.  Taking them and expressing them through personal style is one of my favorite things to do.  Lately, I've come to discover some exceptionally talented artists who creatively display and showcase their similar love of style through their gorgeous fashion-sketched illustrations.  I love how perfectly their strokes of genius effortlessly portray so many of the styles and looks I love to wear daily.  From girls in beanies to runway gone street style looks, these sketches completely capture each vibe.  This look I'm sharing today was created by Holly Nichols.  It caught my eye for so many reasons, not the least of which is the beautiful pink trench.  The pairing of the chunky grey turtleneck sweater and unexpected white denim pulls everything together and made me want to style it for real life.  I added a few options for footwear (fun little sneaks and these boots I'm going crazy over!).  Soft, blush-toned makeup colors round out the look making it one I'm loving right now.  If you're as into these darling little sketches (which come in calendars, mugs and paperie too) as much I am, give these other artists I've linked below a look too.  I think you'll love them...

TGIF is the motto of the day and with it come the fun plans we've been waiting for all week long.  As if that wasn't sweet enough, the start of summer is but moments away and I'm feeling inspired by these gorgeous sorbet shades.  They are the perfect complement to this late spring and early summer time of the year.  I've always loved these soft shades.  It's probably because they say beach days and bonfire nights which is a language we all speak.  This fun little flamingo tee is simply perfect paired with denim shorts and cute sneakers for laid back fun times.  These shades will keep you cool in the sunshine and these cheek colors and skin accentuaters will give you that perfect sun-kissed look all summer long.  Other peachy picks are linked below.  Hope you love them as much as I do...have a wonderful weekend everyone!
