Happy weekend! This week has been beautifully sunny but so very cold!  Ouch! It sometimes makes me wonder if these temperatures will ever rise.  Shopping to the rescue as I'm (wishfully) thinking that if I buy some spring pieces, the warmer days will come, haha.  These Reese pants by J. Crew are oh so comfy and easily dressed up or down.  I love them paired playfully with a cropped denim jacket, silk tee and girlie flats.  You can add a little daytime sparkle with a great statement necklace and look casually cute.  For a more elegant feel, trade the denim for a little faux fur (right now!) or a cropped leather jacket.  This one would be darling.  I'm also loving how this creamsicle shade works just so beautifully with whites, nudes and greys.  This handbag, especially, is a major crave.  What is your favorite piece to style up or dress down?

One of my recent favorite finds is the Tippi Sweater from J Crew.  As with so many of their wonderful pieces this staple comes in a wide array of colors and patterns.  While yes this can sometimes make it harder to choose, it also allows for many styling options.  Here are two different ways I came up with to work it day or night.

Naturally, the possibilities don't end here.  Tippi is a fun, versatile girl and so easy to style.  With so many color and style options available, you may find yourself picking up more than one or two of these great sweaters.  I say, you can never have too many...here's to the start of a great friendship.
