Welcome to Friday where the sun is plentiful and the living is easy.  Can you believe we are less than a week out from summer's official start?  All I can say is, "Yay! Bring on the sunshine, sand and sea."  One thing to also bring on is an update to your beauty routine because the last thing you want is for the sunny day season to wreak havoc on your skin and hair.  Not to worry, I've got you covered.  Each of these items featured here today will be a welcome addition to your beauty bag during the next several months.  Priority number one...a quality sunscreen.  If you only reach for one skincare product each day, make sure that it's a skin protecting SPF.  From head to toe you need to take cover and your skin will thank you in the years to come.  I also love to protect my hair and lips to keep them both soft and supple.  This hair mask will soothe and rehydrate parched strands and keep healthy hair bouncy and beautiful. We all like to keep our makeup routine light and pretty this time of year and waterproof shadow sticks are a girl's best friend!  Uncomplicated and easy to use, a few swipes and you're ready to go.  I love how a few easy additions make summertime beauty a breeze.

Friday's here which means time for a weekend getaway.  Before you pack your bags for the beach be sure to have all the essential your hair, skin and face will need.  This little gadget has done something I never thought possible.  It has replaced my once beloved Clarisonic as my must-have cleansing device. Unlike the beauty brush, this palm sized cleansing device pulsates your way to cleaner, clearer and healthier skin {in just three days!}  I grabbed mine at the latest Nordstrom's sale only days ago and can already see gorgeous changes in my skin.  Couple that with no brush heads to sanitize or replace and it only needs charging every five months. Definitely worth a looksee.  I was also given this mind blowing face serum to try and my oh my is it a powerhouse of perfection!  I admit the price tag is a bit steep but honestly, you only have one face and you wear it, everyday.  Break that down and compare the cost-per-wear to your shoes and….sold.  My hair's never quite the same without the right product in it.  This volumizer by Kérastase leaves mine feeling full and looking lush.  Perfection.  Beach curls are equally perfected with this magic creme.  Toss all your beauty loot into a great bag {love this one for beach days} and it's ready, set, sunshine! Enjoy the first weekend of summer!

TGIF!  Friday feels extra amazing this week after enjoying last weekend's extra long hello to summer.  Now I've got my eyes on the horizon and it's sandy with blue seas as far as the eye can see.  With that in mind, I've put together all my current summer essentials that I'll be tossing into my beach bag for long weekends and fun getaways.  Number one on my list (always) is a really great sunscreen.  This one by Shiseido has a high physical block, is water resistant and chockfull of skin beautifiers.  While protecting your skin, don't forget your hair as well.  Aveda's sun care spray keeps tresses shiny and hydrated with color in tact.  I keep my skin silky smooth with a thirst quenching cream like this one by Aerin (plus it smells delicious!).  NARS The Multiple is an amazing toss and go beach beauty must have as it works beautifully for lips, cheeks and eyes.  Finally, stay hydrated on the inside while looking lovely on the out with fruit infused water at your fingertips.  I'm definitely ready to start the weekend…hope you are too.  Have a great one!
