Wedding season is here and so are the dresses. No matter whether you're set to attend a daytime garden party or black tie event, there is a pretty little frock to take you there.

Lace, florals and silk crepe are each beautiful in one shoulder, asymmetrical and ruffle hemmed detail.

Is it just me or is fall in the air? I'm the girl who starts getting the vibe on come August so I might not be the best to gauge, haha. But these cooler temps, crystal blue skies and trees starting to tint have autumn moments on my mind. Oh, and I love it! Two major color trends I'm seeing and coveting right now are all shades of olive and fig. From camo inspired to full-on crushed velvets, these hues are making me swoon. I'm also loving how the trends are embracing both the classic deep, rich merlots and burgundies as well as the lighter shades of blush and rosé. This sweater perfectly portrays the romantic ways this color plays out. It'd be gorgeous paired with a deep wine colored skirt like this one and a mod little pair of ankle boots (loving these!). Don't forget those pretty green shades. This Rebecca Minkoff bag is a wonderful wallet friendly version of this Chanel splurge. This color combo offers endless options and possibilities. Happy Monday! It's been a fashion filled start to the month freshly kicked off by New York Fashion Week. Today's post is a bit inspired by urban chic and the much-loved NYC street style. This fatigue cargo vest is so versatile and one of my faves for fall. Easy to pair and perfect for layering, this closet staple is a must-have for now and the weeks to come. Try working it together with a plaid blouse (love this one), these black skinnies and this sandal for the perfect transitional look. As the temps cool down, I'll be topping my denim love with these ankle boots and this amazing cashmere poncho and a swipe of this rich lip color. Cyber Monday may be a few weeks away but that doesn't mean we can't super shop this Monday too. Nordstrom is helping get a jump on the savings sweep with this incredible fall clearance sale (with prices up to 40% off autumn must-haves). These suede boots have been on my radar since I first spotted them a while ago. I love the color, shaft height and block heel…all perfect for my favorite fall outfits. In fact, they'd be so cute paired with this faux fur vest (that's currently under $90!). These waterfall cardigans are super soft and cozy right now and such easy layering pieces. Thinking ahead to holiday lights and holiday nights, I'm thinking this dress and these heels might be just what the evening of bubbly will call for come December. Finally, this tote and these rain boots are both so preppy chic that at $24 and $60 each you can't pass them up! Sweater weather is hands down my favorite fashion season. Turtlenecks, leather, scarves, hats , boots and layers…really, what's not to love? Thickly knit and softly woven sweater dresses are one of my favorite late-transitional pieces as they allow you to show a bit of leg while actually keeping you warm and oh so cute. I find they pair best with a great pair of over-the-knee boots. These are amazing but if you want a pair, get them now as they fly off shelves before the turn of the calendar page. Slouchy and oversized with style is another option that works well with so many things we need it for this season. Try pairing this cashmere dolman sleeve turtleneck with a pencil skirt and ankle boots during the week and later take it to the countryside for pumpkin picking with a pair of skinny jeans, tall boots and much-loved plaid scarf. Perfect! Don't forget the classic marbled heather chunky knit that you'll wear and wear or anything Vince as those are the favorites you'll never stop loving. Happy Friday everyone! Today's look has really caught my eye as it has come back into the fold. A longtime staple in the chicest closets, the wide leg pant has long been the piece that well-dressed women reached for both casually and dressed up times alike. I'm so excited to see it becoming readily available again. This pair from Anthropologie is so beach-inspired and just perfect for that long stroll along the sand. I've also been eyeing this printed pair. I'd love them paired with navy crop top or worn over a two-piece poolside. For more glamorous moments, this drapey, rayon option has a gathered waist and easy fit that would be perfect for dressing up. A dressy sandal (this pair is a fave) would work perfectly with them along with a short-sleeved silk top or this lovely little lace number. Add in a sleek clutch and you're ready for a throwback to classic glam. TGIF! Even better it's springtime wonderful and that means wedding season. I'm so excited for it and for all the gorgeous dress options I've been seeing lately. Whether you're attending an afternoon garden party reception or black tie event, the amazing dresses you'll have to choose from are incredible. You may remember me mentioning in an earlier post that I am absolutely in love with this dress. I bought it black and am seriously considering it in the beautiful blush option too. It fits like a dream, is elegantly feminine and gives a nod back to the age of glamour. It also comes in a huge selection of other colors which isn't typical of most cocktail dresses. Lucky for us! This illusion topped sheath dress is gorgeous in gold and would be perfect for an evening wedding. The golden sequins drape and flow effortlessly over the body and draw the best kind of attention as they completely flatter your curves. I also want to try on this little off-the-shoulder lace number. Not only do I love the style of this dress, I'm also really intrigued by the rich jewel-toned color done in the ladylike lace. So pretty! If a black tie gala is on your list this spring or summer, you can definitely opt for a full length gown. This Chiara Boni dress is stunning and I'm especially loving the black and white combo. This red dress from Jill Stuart is also a knockout and will definitely turn heads all night long. Don't forget to pair your favorite look with to-die-for heels. This Stuart Weitzman pair is a fave for summer and they give the illusion of legs that go on forever while letting the dress be the star.

Happy Monday everyone! I hope the weekend was a good one. Neutrals are a classic palette that I always reach for no matter the season or setting. Autumn is the perfect time to mix those delicious tones of caramel, ivory, smokey grey and dark charcoal to create some truly gorgeous looks. Today I'm sharing my latest favorites I'm currently craving. Oh where do I even begin? Well, one thing's for certain, you can't really go wrong when playing with shades like these because they work beautifully together as well as with anything you already own. This camel turtleneck sweater is so good in so many ways. I'd try pairing it with a slate pencil skirt, leather jacket, heels and pony tail for a polished look with a hint of an edge. Another way to go, could be with your well-worn denim skinnies, an easy floppy, a dash of leopard and these over the knee boots. Sweater dresses are such a cozy choice too this time of year. The holiday season is filled with travel and the often-asked question, "What should I pack?" Well, for me I've found that it's usually best to have a few "double-duty" items and pieces that you can dress up or down and that travel well on a long car or plane ride. Here are my best go-tos:

A cozy wrap sweater will save you from the chill without causing you to overheat. Wear one out and roll the other one up in your carry-all tote. Some other easy to pack must-haves are these soft layering tees. They are perfect for wearing under your cardis or all by themselves. Put them on top of your favorite pair of skinnies. These too can go glam or stay casual, depending on the game plan.

Since the weather is likely to be carrying a winter's chill, I like to start out wearing my favorite ankle boots and then pack a pair of fab flats to slip into since they take up much less space. Toss in a printed scarf and, if you're really heading somewhere cold, you'll certainly want to bring along a terrific topper. The current colorblock options are chicly adorable and easy to pair with other neutral pieces. Then, don't forget your nighttime faves. This soft sleep shirt will keep you warm and is easy to pack. A sweet pair of shearling lined slip ons will feel oh-so good after the merriment ends. Finally, it's always a nice idea to bring a little something for the hostess. This beautifully scented candle is the perfect choice that she will definitely appreciate and enjoy.
