So often you all will ask me for any tips I can give you on how to score your best suit for the summer.  Ultimately, it comes down to a few basic points to always remember and they are...draw the eye to what you love and downplay whatever you don't.  Honestly, I'm going to bet that whatever the latter might be, no one notices it like you do.  At times we can all be our own worst critics.  I'm saying, don't let that happen.  Downcast that inner voice and focus upon everything that makes you beautiful, which is a lot.

These simple suits I've choose here each highlight an area that deserves a little love.  This printed one-piece with its ruffle shoulder detail is so glamorous and gorgeous.  All eyes will be on how Hollywood starlet-like you look just lounging by the pool.

A similar look is this pretty blue option.  I love the neck and shoulder detailing that simply draw the eye up and away.  And, it pairs so perfectly with white sandals, a straw hat and this iconic tote.  Tiny bows make for another eye-catching element that adds interest to what might otherwise be a plain look.

Finally, I couldn't complete the post without offering some advice on two-piece dressing.  This option may not be something some of us typically run towards but, it is one that can definitely work if you honor a few caveats.  The first being that which I brought up at the beginning.  These and all swimwear pieces should spotlight the parts of our bodies we love the most.  High-waisted bottoms beautifully accentuate the waistline and adjustable straps alongside a sweetheart neckline top show off both smaller and bigger bust lines alike.

Tiny tweaks and attention to detail are what make an outfit look great and selecting a swimsuit is no different.  It's all in how you choose to own your shape and style and love your look.  If any of these tips, tricks or styles caught your eye I've linked them in the thumbnails below.  Hope you're all enjoying a wonderful first week of summer!  See you on Friday!

To those who know me, it's really no secret that I am a self-proclaimed Francophile.  I'm completely enamored with the culture, style and feel of the beloved city of lights.  Some of the most iconic looks in fashion today are born of French descent.  Everything from le stripe boatneck tops to classic ballet flats, French women simply embody the essence of style while never falling prey to the trappings of style.  Minimalism may be one reason why.  It's often said that the French girl's closet doesn't exceed ten key pieces max.  For summer I can pair that down to five.  A few great dresses (loving this one, this one and this one too), a striped tee, a pair of well fitted denim, a chic sandal and an important everyday bag.  Really, it's as simple as that.  Doesn't that just make life so deliciously simple?   You shop French-inspired styles below {many of them are on sale now…don't miss it!}

xx,

Kelly

Happy Fa-la-la-la-la Friday! The holiday season is filled with so many things I love (Christmas carols, hot cups of cocoa, sparkling snowflakes, holiday lights, pretty presents) and festive gatherings sprinkled throughout the month.  From small, intimate get togethers to elegant affairs, the occasion always calls for looking and feeling fabulous.  Today I put together the first of a few party looks I'm thinking of trying on for size this year.   Soft and romantic fabrics and colors are always uber feminine.  For the holidays, pretty pinks and neutrals are wonderful together and equally striking when you pair them with black.  It's like an unexpected twist on the usual black and red festive go-to.  A bit of sparkle and shine is always delightful in December.  A glittering mini or a sequin jacket can elevate a look from day to night with minimum effort and major payout.  Not feeling that bold? Try adding a sparkly little clutch to your look and you're ready, set, shine.  How will you be making the most of the season of glitter and glow?

Have a lovely weekend!  xx

Happy April! How exciting it is to think we've turned the corner towards spring and will finally be able to start wearing the cutest spring dresses and clothes.  In honor of that, I've picked out some of the prettiest, happiest and chicest little dresses that I'm loving that are trending right now.  This little gold lace number is perfect for cocktails on the rooftop while enjoying the sunset.  I'm also eyeing this one and love its mod-60's detailing and feel.  My calendar is filling up quickly with weddings, showers and girlie garden parties.  This elegant LBD is just right for those evening weddings or even a black-tie event, so classic, so timeless and so very glam.  I also think this lace sheath style is gorgeous for day or night nuptials or even a going away dress for the bride.  Garden parties are also girlie and fun.  This floral two piece dress is one of my favorite picks and just so playful.  The cropped top and midi skirt pairing is my definite go-to look this season and I can't seem to get enough of it.  What looks are you coveting and craving this month?  I'd love to know!

Have a lovely Wednesday everyone!
