Happy Friday!  Spring is whispering in my ear and I am so excited to start answering the call.  Whenever we turn the page from winter to spring, my mind always goes towards gorgeous navys and pretty, soft neutrals.   Today's looks all revolve around that theme as they embrace the classic combo in new and fresh ways.  This denim dress is the perfect piece to build a wardrobe upon.  I love it with caramel mules, nude shades and a buttery blonde bag.  It would also be equally adorable with some chic little sneakers, a neutral moto jacket and cute crossbody.  While it's still a little cool outside, I'll be reaching for this striped sweater.  I plan to pair it with jeans and denim hued high tops now and have it partner with my favorite white denim shorts and sandals come summer at the beach.  Currently, these pants will soon be in the rotation pairing with cropped sweaters first and cute tops later.  A boho sandal and bag round out the look topped off with this straw hat.

Hello Wednesday!  This week is flying by and as I'm excitedly waiting for spring, there are some closet staples I've been adding to my collection of late.  Specifically, the spring blouse.  I've always loved warm weather tops and this season is definitely impressing me.  Soft colors, fresh florals and feminine details are all holding court and I love each and every one.  This one from Boden (you can also get it online at Nordstrom's) is so delicate and sweet.  I'd love it with skinny denim capris, flats and a classic trench in early spring and later paired with scalloped shorts and a fun straw bag.  This one is a tomboy gone girlie option and a steal (at under $40!).  Tie front details are very right now, showing up in tons of fabrics, styles and great colors.  Finally, the devil is always in the details and this top proves that to be so.  It's darling and parable with so many great options.  With mileage like that, it is definitely worth the splurge.  Just in case one, two or a few of these have caught your eye, I've linked them all in the thumbnails below.  Now for the hard part...which ones to choose!

The unofficial start of summer means the subtle reveal of bare shoulders, sexy strapped ankles, unexpected details and white everything.  Let me say….I'm ready for it all. Hello everyone!  Thanks for stopping over for today's peek at chic.  One of my favorite things about summer {and yes, there are many!} is the endless amount of options it provides for getting dressed.  Currently I'm loving a white on white combo.  Timeless, elegant and always so chic, this monochromatic look is anything but boring.  What's nice to me is that this pairing can be worn everywhere from the beach to boardroom and always be done in style.  These looks I'm sharing today are some of my favorite ways to wear white.  Well-choosen accessories can add a new layer of personality to the feel and take you wherever you need to go in it.  Personally, I feel there's nothing like the addition of cognac leather to lend a bit of contrast appeal.  When wanting to either keep it more beach friendly or go more elegant, white sandals or heels can do just that.  These classic summer favorites are always at the ready in my closet.  I love to pull the look altogether with a striking swipe of red lipstick and the perfect grab and go clutch (this one is amazing!).  You can shop more easy ways to get white right in the links above and thumbnails below.
