Happy Monday! Hope you had a lovely weekend…Ours was snow-covered then sunny, the perfect wintertime combination.  Whenever it's cold and blustery, I love to reach for a favorite cozy scarf.  Oversized and oh so soft, the scarf is possibly the most versatile, hardworking piece in any wardrobe.  The Zara plaid blanket scarf seems to have become the iconic must-have of the season and sold out everywhere. This similar option is the one I own and I love it.  It works with neutrals as well as prints (like this herringbone puffer vest).  I'm also adoring this window pane check style one because of its bold statement appeal.  I'd definitely pair it easily with cherry red, black, ivory or the chicest navy.  Houndstooth checks are perfect for now and into late winter, early spring.  They have the ease and ability to play up an all black look and then turn around and complement soft creams and blush pinks and grays late season.  The ways to wear your favorite scarf are as varied as the pattern choices.  I love wearing the soft falling triangle fold.  The way it drapes the neckline is freshly flattering.  For tips and how-tos on the many ways to tie one on be sure to take a peek at this fabulous tutorial here.

Happy Monday! One of my greatest wishes when it comes to travel is to spend some time in the city of lights.  Paris and the River Seine are a magical must-see of heaven on earth.  The perfect pairing of culture and beauty. Inspired by my friend, Kat Tanita and her latest journey to the European countryside (shop her incredible travel line designed with Gigi New York here), I've put together a collection of some of my favorite Parisian snapshots.  I love how they capture the joy that the mere thought of this city gives me.  When in Paris, one must indulge their sweet tooth with the gorgeous assortment of mouthwatering macarons. I'm not sure which I love more, the taste or all those luscious colors!  The iconic allure of the Eiffel Tower speaks romance in every language.  Dinner with a breathtaking view of it in the distance is on my list of "would love to experience".  The best way to get around and see the sights?  A candy colored Vespa of course!  So European and oh-so very chic.  Naturally, plenty of great shopping would ensue while there but there are also several favorite travel items I'd be bringing with me.  You can shop them below for wherever your traveling heart takes you…
