The warm weather and upcoming Memorial Day weekend holiday have me thinking ahead to summer vacay and weekend getaways soon to come.  One place I absolutely love to escape to each year is the island of Nantucket.  Peaceful, pretty and oh-so-Americana, this is one of my favorite places to go and soak in the sun and sweet breezes.  Packing for the trip is almost just as fun.  These ten pieces are the perfect must-haves to take along.  This embroidered baby doll dress is great for street strolling along with a panama hat, a sweet pair of Jack Rogers (loving the gold!) and these sunnies.  It could also double as a pretty beach cover up apres beach.   This nautical-inspired two piece swimsuit is so darling.  The colors are definitely New England summer ready.  I'm also loving these J. Keeping cover under the sun is also always tops on my list.  This J. Crew fedora is perfect for that.  It's just so cute and chic and easy to wear, I love it!  A pair of great sunnies, floral two-piece and easy sandals or flip-flops take me everywhere I want to go.  Later, when it's time to pretty-up a bit, I can easily find all my favorite makeup items in an adorable cosmetics clutch like this charming little one from Kate Spade.  Don't forget to pack the camera (this little pink one has my eye) and a denim jacket for cool night breezes.  Ok, who's ready to kick off summer? So am I!
