TGIF!  Summer weekends always mean subtle shades of white and maybe a splash of cream to create a really lovely, light and seasonal look.  Today's post shows some the easy ways to wear them whether you wish to dress it up or down.

A perfect summer dress is a the one staple every wardrobe absolutely needs in my opinion.  This one is such a good choice.  From the neutral color and flattering fit to the way it works effortlessly for so many occasions this time of year.  I definitely recommend it.

Bermuda shorts are another great piece that you can style in a number of fun ways.  This particular pair has already sold out a couple of times at H&M and I am still waiting to get my hands on them in black and white.  When I do, I plan to put them together with an updated sleeveless sweater like this one here.  I love the mix of textures worn together in a monochromatic look.  

This high-neck eyelet white dress is just so pretty and would be so nice on date night or to a baby shower this month.  I would put it with a pair of nude slides for a casual look or a tan sandal and similar colored handbag to tie the look together.

Some classic gold jewelry, this bag and a stunning watch round out the ways I'll be wearing shades of white this summer.  So simple, so easy and really fresh for the season.

Happy June!  Summertime fun is officially underway and so is the styling.  Whether you're casually inspired or heading to a nice event at long last, summer looks are always uplifting to me.  Today's outfit is inspired by those everyday, in between moments whether they're spent running around doing some errands and shopping or meeting some friends for a girls' lunch, this one is perfect for either.

If you've followed me for a bit then you've seen me style several of these pieces before.  And the sign of a great investment is its ability to do just that.  Let's start here with this lovely little top.  This one is from & Other Stories and I love it for so many reasons.  Versatility being one of them.  For this look here I've paired it with some high-waisted and relaxed summer wash denim trousers.  By doing so, you are nicely dressing the look down a bit but still coming away with bit more elevated feel than say jeans and a t-shirt.  

Next, I added in a bit of polished interest with a few gold jewelry bits like this watch you see here.  I really just love the juxtaposition of wearing it with a far more feminine top like his one.  These sailor knot earrings are such a good choice too to wear with a nice low bun and a pair of oversized sunglasses.  

The classic straw bag will be my go-to all season as it works so beautifully with nearly everything from my closet that I am going to wear.  This one is a nice, somewhat affordable option that really just pays for itself over the course of the summer.  

And finally, I've gone with a somewhat unexpected style of shoe with these chunky loafers.  I love how they visually pull the outfit together with their color and add so much interest to the overall look.

Hello beauties and happy Monday!  I'm here to hopefully help you start the week on happy note.  What better way to do that than with a lovely little nod to spring?  While autumn is my all time favorite time of year, spring is a pretty close second.  With its soft, serene skyline and gentle watercolor brushstrokes, I feel like I'm living in a painted Parisian paradise.  Ah, could there be anything better? I didn't think so, haha.  But honestly, the colors of the season are so happy and joyful and deserve some love shown their way.  I've loved pastels since I met them and spring makes it easy to incorporate them into my wardrobe.  This spring sweater and these well-worn jeans are the perfect shades of blue.  I love the sense of calm they bring.  I'm also a huge fan of all things pink....oh, have you noticed?  Whether it's a running shoe, shade of lipstick or luxurious body polish, I am always all in.  A thoughtful splash of ivory, and a few well placed pops of gold or silver round out those spring vibes and leave you looking as fresh as a daisy!  

Can you all believe that Easter is almost here?  It will have a very different kind of a feel for so many of us this year. I'm finding though that through all of this and the unfortunate events of the world right now, we are all finding those silver linings and becoming more and more appreciative of the little things along the way.  Hoping you feel the same!
