Happy Friday! I don't know about you but I'm ready to start the weekend even though it's supposed to be a snowy one. Even so, a weekend is a weekend and most-loved when well spent. Seeing the potential snowbound situation, I'm planning on spending some time shopping for an oh-so-cozy way to stay warm in winter (aka faux fur). This trend has come such a long, long way since it first started becoming popular. What was once only a mink or white fur-like option has now evolved into a full and sometimes colorful display of gorgeous options! I'm thinking burgundies, bordeauxs, jade green, navy and of course, blush. I'm also loving how there are so many ways to wear it now. My current fave is this vest version. It's so versatile and can dress you up or go completely casual. I adore it paired with a fun and flirty silky shirtdress, a pair of OTK boots and sexy fedora…perfection. Faux fur collared coats are also commanding a lot of attention. I love the elegant feel they give to these otherwise brutal temps. This sweater cape version is amazing! Last, but maybe the prettiest, is the look of grooved fur jackets. It's somewhat of a throwback but I love the fresh take on it like this look here.
