Easy spring looks are some of my favorites and they are what we're all likely to be reaching for right now. Blue denim and the white tee are both classics when it comes to a look like this one. Pairing them together is so simple and so easy to elevate with just a few classic touches like these.

The blazer has always been an iconic piece and I love to wear it all year round and especially now in springtime.  I chose a single button style here.  I think it adds a bit of softness to the shape and an overall loveliness as well as a bit of feminine feel to the look.

Black sunglasses are not only the perfect complement to the look but also a necessity with this one.  There's just something so quintessentially stylish and alluring about this pair.  It's a classic staple that  I love having in my rotation.

Footwear should always give you easy options that can change the direction of the outfit depending where you want to take the look.  Trainers are always my go-to and this pair is perfect for spring.  But if you want a bit more of a polished and clean look then I recommend these mules.  I love them with jeans like I have here as well as dresses and spring trousers alike.

Again, you all know me and my complete adoration of gold jewelry.  I think a pair of hoops complete so many outfits I wear and these are a really nice option for that.  A classic timepiece is another way to do the same while pulling the entire look together and this Hermes watch is so good at doing that.

These are the pieces I'm loving right now and what I want to have at the ready for casual days.  I hope you love them too.  Enjoy!

If you've been here a while then you already know how much I enjoy some really good street style from time to time.  Today it's the spring edition of that facet with some essential pieces that are designed to take you effortlessly through the season.

Of course, no capsule would be complete without a few necessary basics.  For today's look those would be  a smart pair of trousers, a well-fitted leather moto jacket, basic white trainers and a great white tee.  Not only do I find these staples glorious in and of themselves, I also love how they all pair easily and interchangeably together resulting in an endless array of outfit possibilities.  So here we go...

The first item is what I've built the look around and that is this pair of tan colored trousers.  I love them for several reasons and for today the main one is how simple and easy they are to style up or down depending upon the look you're going for that day.  Today that's going in more of an off-duty direction with complements of black and white.

This t-shirt is going to be one piece I am reaching for all spring and summer long.  I love it with absolutely everything from blue denim to a pleated midi skirt.  You can really do almost anything with it and this look here is the perfect example.

Sneakers (love this pair!) in all price ranges would work with both the t-shirt top and casual bottom.  They really work with nearly everything most of us find ourselves which makes life so simple.  That's just one reason why they are the most-loved option in footwear at the moment and I couldn't be happier.  Cute and comfy styles are available in prices to fit every wallet.  I will link a few options at different price points for you in the thumbnails below.

Of course, more gold jewelry bits and the constant sunnies round out every look for me and this one is no exception.  Simple, chic and ready for anything.  Enjoy!

Weekend vibes call for casual looks that capture one's personal style and make you feel great.  Classic neutrals with a hint of street style are where that always takes me.  Whether you're making plans or simply running around town, these pieces can create the looks you'll love to wear.

Neutrals work so hard to effortlessly elevate the everyday.  Cognac, caramel, smokey grey and camel can be so playfully combined with a bit of animal print to give a casual look that cool-girl vibe.  This sweater is such a great piece to have in your closet all fall and winter long for so many reasons.  It layers perfectly over a cami or blouse in autumn but now in winter it can also work over a body con turtleneck in any color.

These jeans are one of my favorite pairs for so many reasons.  The distressed charcoal grey and high waist  are just a couple I need to mention along with the fact that they are sooooo comfortable.  They also happily pair with everything from a tee to this belted wrap coat.

Causal sneakers are always weekend appropriate.  You all know how I feel about this pair.  And they look so cute paired with a fun beanie and cozy winter accessories like this scarf.

Round out the look with some layering necklaces, a pretty watch and a dainty pair of earrings alongside your favorite handbag (I'm currently loving this one) and you are all set for Saturday or Sunday.

What does everyone have planned for this weekend?  I plan on taking in the winter scenes and later cozying up by the fire.  Wine is invited, haha.  Hope you are all ready for something you love too!  Have fun everyone!

Doing a bit of London dreaming today and while I may not currently be able to enjoy a walk along those cobblestone streets just yet, I can still get dressed for it.  British style is classic yet cutting edge which is one of the elements that always draws my eye.  Simple silhouettes and easy to style pieces make the look come to life with very little effort and a whole lot of results.

I love black, greys, camels and creams and this look pulls all of them together with effortless ease.  Unlike  some trendier styles, these pieces create ultra-stylish looks that you wear instead of them wearing you.  Simple, soft yarn turtlenecks play so gracefully with a relaxed trouser like this one.  Then, as 2020 taught us so well, lose the fancy footwear and go instead with a casual little kick like this pair of sneakers.  If you are in the mood for a little more luxury then I'd say reach for these gorgeous booties.

Accessories are the greatest (and easiest) ways to add a personal touch to your look.  For me, I absolutely adore a newsboy cap.  I also think this style is super cute.  A classic patterned scarf is a great option nearly year-round so that's a definite yes in winter.  This one works with nearly every neutral piece you can own. British gals know the importance of a timeless bag.  I'm still loving this one.  And finally, don't forget a quick swipe of color on the lips to bring the whole look to life.

Ahhh, it's so easy to put together chic European looks with staple pieces like these.   For all the details on everything shown here today, you can shop them all via the thumbnails below.  Now, we just have to buy the plane tickets! Hope you are having fun planning your great escape too.  Enjoy the daydream, it's the first step of the journey!

There's just something about street style that never fails to impress or inspire me.  What started with captures by The Sartorialist more than half a decade ago continues to go strong and I couldn't be happier.  I think part of my passion for this facet of fashion is simply how these are real women who are effortlessly expressing themselves through their clothing and loving who they are.  No rules, just authentic expression so very well played.

Today's post is inspired by those street styles and hopefully, it will speak to you as well.  So, let's start with this coat.  Once November rolls around, it's absolutely incredible how much of a centerpiece a really great coat can be for the look you are wanting to create.  This one is absolutely gorgeous and needs nothing but its beauty to make a first impression.  The softly muted colors, oversized, menswear shaping and gentle plaid patterning come together to work magic.  Can you tell I'm a little bit smitten?

Beautiful features aside, I also think that key pieces need to be super versatile as they work overtime to mix and match easily with everything you already own.  And, this too is an essential characteristic of authentic street style.  Today I'm reaching for these black wide-leg pants as the perfect bottom for this look.  Topped with an ivory sweater, they are the perfect neutrals to make the look stand out.

Keeping with the neutrals theme, I would definitely pair these sneakers with this outfit along with a cute beanie on one of those off-duty days.  And, if I want to take it up a notch, then these boots will do the trick.  Add in some gold, layered necklaces and a classic watch (loving this one), some sunnies and a swipe of classic color and you then only need one more thing...a simple handbag.  This one has been my favorite since I first saw it several years ago.  The measure of a smart choice is staying loyal to it ever since.

And there you have it.  An easily achieved, stylish look that speaks to who you are or in this case, who I am.  And that is what I love about fashion, it allows you to be exactly who you are.  What better mode of self-expression is there than that?

Hope you're having fun with fashion this season.  Enjoy!

Today, motivation means being inspired by your easy pair-able favorites that you can easily just grab and go.  All while looking impossibly pulled together of course, haha.  But honestly, I love nothing more than being able to put together something simple and chic and not having to give it another thought.  These pieces make that possible with their classic feel, contemporary silhouettes and neutral color scheme.  I love these high-waisted denim jeans and pair them with practically everything I own.  This sweater does so much with so little contemplation.  I love it on top of these jeans, paired with a skirt and contrasted on top of deconstructed denim.  A cozy winter bag always has my heart come January.  Accessories with personality (like this belt) and gold hoops polish off the look.  Reach for a menswear-inspired wool coat on your way out the door and you have captured street style chic with minimal effort and maximum payout.  Don't you just love when that happens?

Here's to hoping Monday is treating you right.  Have a great day everyone!

TGIF ladies!  Friday has arrived and we can all raise a glass.  Doing it in your favorite weekend casual pieces makes all that even better.  Boyfriend denim, comfy sweatshirts and relaxed jackets are some of the best ways to enjoy off duty looks in springtime.  I'm also loving the fact that so many chic sneaker styles have hit the scene and happily the momentum is growing.  I just added this pair to my closet.  I love pairing them with oversized jackets, high waited denim and cropped wide-legged jeans.  It's so much fun to mix and match this way and the more pairing options I have, the less I find myself asking, "What do I wear?"  Looks like these make me so happy.  If you're feeling the weekend love too, I've linked some great, easy to wear pieces for you below.  Hope everyone's ready for a wonderful weekend!

Happy Monday, loves!  I hope everyone enjoyed the weekend and is meeting the week with a smile.  So, as much as I love watching the runway at spring and fall fashion shows, there's nothing as inspiring as seeing real women style their favorite pieces the real way aka street style.  While I've posted about this before, I still frequently feel compelled to share the incredible looks that inspire me as worn by the everygirl.  From teddy coats and chic sneaks to fashionably worn berets and perfect palazzos, the idea that style can't be bought has never been so true.  Fashion "It Girls" are self-made style superstars, not because they wear only the latest and greatest of what's out there but more appropriately because they embrace their own knowing, stay true to themselves and let their natural light shine.  Sometimes it takes a little introspection to discover who that really is for you but no matter what it takes to find it, to quote a well said truth,...don't ever let anyone dull your sparkle sweetheart!  Wishing you all a beautiful day and thanks so much for stopping by!

It's New York Fashion Week and what could be more prominently on our minds than street style?  From Lincoln Center straight down to Soho, fashion's forerunners and the girls that get it are each blazing a trail.  And, while the shows are spotlighting ways to keep warm next fall and winter we, thankfully, get  to prep our closets for warmer days ahead.

One of my favorite items that will be heavy in the rotation for me is the graphic tee.  From foreign phrases to baseball styles, I just can't seem to get enough of this piece.  Lucky for me, it's an easy-to-style piece that has miles of wearability.  Today I chose these two wonderful ways to wear it:

Laidback Ladylike Glam:
J. Crew denim strectch jacket // Amour Tee // Cutler and Gross for J.Crew 0737 sunnies // Asos pleated midi skirt // Valentino

Borrowed from the Boyfriend
Helmut Lang slouchy cropped sleeve blazer //

J.Crew Linen baseball tee in l'amour triomphe // Burberry Brit skinny jeans // All Saints Edara beanie // Asos heels // Madewell textbook glasses // Fendi '2Jours Elite' bag

Happy Monday and I hope you all enjoy the rest of this amazing NYFW!
