When I was asked to come up with a post built around my current favorites, it would come as no surprise that it would relay heavily upon neutrals...as well as updated versions of the timeless pieces I love.  These picks you see here are all items I am drawn to at the moment for a bunch of well-deserved reasons.

This bag from Wandler has definitely caught my eye.  The shape is a beautiful mix of softness and structure.  While it's not large, the inside of this bag features a lot of hidden pockets which are perfect for holding and organizing all of your things.  I also just think this particular color is stunning and love that you can wear it with an assortment of other shades and neutrals.

So, these trousers are yet another item I find completely necessary for the transitional season we're about to be having.  Floaty and forgiving, they offer you the freedom to go up or down a size and in this color, they work just beautifully with both lighter as well as a bit deeper color schemes.

This sweet little top is the perfect example of how to wear them now with summer colors, a low bun and classic gold-tone jewelry.  Then, whenever you reach for them again, try putting them with a bit of a deeper shade like this sleeveless silk vest in a gorgeous chocolate color.

Caramel colored sandals with a bit of a tortoise shell accent are perfect for the moment.  I am loving this pair as it effortlessly complements all of the pieces I already love to wear.  Of course, we can't forget a beloved pair of sunglasses and these are the latest on my list.  Slightly darker and perfectly shaped, I know  they will find a happy spot in my rotation.

Which pieces are you loving at the minute?

Hello everyone and welcome back from the weekend.  I hope you all enjoy a lovely two days off and are ready to begin the week now with a smile.  So I suppose right now, it's all about the dress.  And, of course,  I don't mean the dress in a fussy way as none of us are ever likely to revisit that sort of dressing ever again.  Rather, the dress meaning the easiest, chicest piece that captures all of the classic and timeless elements that all wardrobe staples should really embody.

I went with the black for today's look as I feel it is a welcome change from the barrage of white and cream that we are all about to be seeing from this minute onward.  I do love a lot of white in my spring and summer wardrobe, however, this unexpected diversion is really quite nice.

There's so much to enjoy about this particular dress that I'm not quite sure where to begin.  The flattering tiered skirting and gorgeous neckline look so very nice together with just the slightest bit of feminine detailing.  It has a very easy fit and could easily be something you style casually or in a more elevated style depending upon where you are going.

I went for a more relaxed look here today by pairing these iconic Hermès sandals with it while lightening the look with a bit of white which I love in the warmer weather.  A straw tote is another item I find myself wearing a lot in spring/summer as it is such a versatile piece that works really well with so many looks right now.

I love my gold jewelry and think that these hoops would pair perfectly with this outfit.  A dark pair of sunglasses keep everything looking a bit mysterious and a delicate hair tie gets your hair to behave on the warmest of days.

Don't forget the indispensable need for a smart blazer to keep you comfortable on those nights when the air may carry a bit of a slight chill.  And there you have it...a perfect way to enjoy the warmer days (and nights) ahead.

I hope you, as always, found something to love here.  In case you have, I've linked all the pieces mentioned in the thumbnails below.  Happy dressing up!

Happy Monday!  I hope your weekend was wonderful and full of some of your summer favorites.  I made a little pitstop on mine.  While needing to pick up a watch repair, I also scooped up a few of the final best of fall pieces at the #Nsale.  So with that in mind, I put together some of the easiest transitional pieces that will help you build the bridge from summer into fall.  If one thing's for sure it's that temps greatly vary from morning to day and back to evening in the early part of the season.  That's why light layers are a must and something I always am sure to stock up on.  This ultra light mock turtleneck is a great piece to grab and wear on its own, under a fun jacket (love this one!) or layered with a roomy chambray top.  I always love the fact too that although none of us like to give up our summer sandals, what better way to do so than by slipping into fun flats and cute ankle boots?  These Louise Et Cie lace up Ghillie flats are so sweetly chic and the easiest way to say goodbye to gladiators.  They also play nicely with everything from boyfriend denim to feminine midis.  Something else I immediately think of when I think fall, is a great new handbag.  The colors moving into September are beginning to whisper shades of cognac and merlot.  This buttery toffee saddle bag is such a classic which speaks to the heart of the season.  Last but never least, don't forget those important must-haves like soft lightweight plaid button downs and cozy boyfriend jeans.  Hmmm, I think I'm looking forward to fall already!
