Merry almost Christmas! The big night and day are nearly here...who's ready?!  Although we all lead very different lives, with many various beliefs, desires and feelings but if there is one thing that we can all agree upon is has to be that 2020 was....a year.

And, rather than lament what we could have done without, it makes me so much happier to think about all the things this year has taught me and likely that is true for all of us.  I've always known that time and people are precious and this year has shown me just how true that is.  The little things we may have once taken for granted or quickly glossed over somehow became the cornerstones of our worlds this year.  We each have faced our own personal challenges and have risen to them with courage and strength.  No matter what the past year has given you, it is likely we are each better for it in some small way...even if it hasn't always felt that way.  Believe me, I am right there with you.

Still, there have been silver linings for us as well and those unexpected moments of hope and joy have uplifted me and so many of the friends and family I hold dear.  They are also the backdrop and meaning of the beautiful Christmas and holiday season.  These photos you see here today are a reflection of some of the many things that make my heart happy and the things I love the most.  Honestly, I've come to see clearly this year what I've known for so very long and that is that life's simple pleasures are truly the greatest of treasures.

I hope these captures bring you a bit of happiness too as we now round out the year of clarity and turn the page to the many new and exciting things that await us all.  I wish every one of you a blessed and joyful holiday season with your family and friends.  As for me, I will be taking some time away from Chic Saturday so I can do the very same.  I look forward to seeing you all in the new year with more of the things that bring me joy and sharing them with you!  Until then, I am so thankful for you all wish you a very...

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!!

xoxo,

~K
