Bon Jour beauties!  If you've been following my blog or my boards over on Pinterest for any amount of time, it's no surprise that I have more than a slight affinity for all things French.  Imagine how happy I was to discover this chic little line known simply as, Maison Jules.  The private label, debuting at Macy's this month, has some strong fashion ties and well-known names behind it.  Paris street style chronicler, Garance Doré and French "it girl", Jeanne Damas are both on board with Doré having photographed Damas on location in Paris, capturing the ease, elegance and allure of the city and its unmistakable style.

Seeing the line up close and in person here's what I can tell you.....

With pieces that range from basics (think tees, tanks, knits) to feminine favorites (think flirty dresses, lace tops and curve enhancing skimmers), Maison Jules evokes a strong sense of anthropologie meets the everygirl.  Hot on the heels of well-known and highly coveted brands like Maje and Sandro, the design, quality and price points of this line are a much welcomed addition to the stateside shopping experience.

The pieces I tried on were comfy, yet had that "fits me like a glove" quality which is surprisingly not so easy to find.  Having tested out the Charlotte skinny pants, sunglasses print sweater, sleeveless utility vest and scoop neck striped top, I went with the pants (yes, two pairs at this price and fit) and the absolutely adorable sunglasses sweater (so in love with this print!).  While the other two pieces were equally great, I wanted a lengthier fit on the vest (I have a long torso so you should definitely give this one a try, it may just be perfect) and have just too many striped tees already, if that's truly possible.  With price points ranging from $18 to $80, this is certainly a budget-friendly line, completely free of any post-purchase guilt.  Needless to say, I've added Maison Jules to my "must see while shopping list".  Who couldn't use a little bit of French in their day?

Hoping you enjoyed a wonderful weekend and thanks for stopping by!
