If you haven't heard, today's the day…the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale officially opens to the public.  Be warned though, some items have already been completely scooped up and others are going fast.  While I already blogged about it here when Early Access began, with the doors opening to non-cardholders as well today, I couldn't resist sharing more of what I'm getting and what I'm craving right now.  These western style booties are so cute and will be perfect with fall's plaid blouses and chunky sweaters.   A great jacket is what can tie a look all together and is the first piece I always want come autumn.  This shawl collar skirted coat has my attention and is perfect for so many reasons.  The color is one of fall's gorgeous neutrals, the shape is absolutely flattering and it's on major sale (hello 40% off!).  This striped sweater dress (under $45!), these flared jeans (so happy they're back!) and this unbelievable travel makeup palette are some of my other must-haves this go around.  With such deep discounts on so many designer favorites and fantastic fall pieces, I suggest stocking up. Happy Monday!  You know it's been a long, long winter when you start looking forward to rain showers.  I think they are actually a kind of a win, win at this point because it's finally too cold for snow and they are a sure sign that spring flowers are soon to follow.  They're also a wonderful reason to wear the cutest coat of the season aka the trench.  I've always loved that turn of the page that leaves behind the heavy coats and scarves and says hello to lighter weight fabrics and bright pops of color.  The trench coat does that so well and can be the perfect topper to any outfit rain or shine. This buttercup single-breasted option is just gorgeous and would bring a ray of sunshine to any day.  I'm also really considering picking up this asymmetrical style one in this delicious shade of grenadine, beautiful!  Anthropologie's take on the look is unmistakably theirs with the soft detailing and almost romantic notion  that makes this draped daytripper trench somewhat irresistible.  Classic colors like camel, navy and black never fail to please and are great go-to color choices.  This Trina Turk flared version in black is so chic and can be worn in endless ways from night out to day off (and it's currently on major sale!).  Calvin Klein has done it again with this navy satin number - love.  How gorgeous would that be with a pair of yellow capris and a nautical inspired boatneck top?

I always say, "Embrace the moment".  When it's winter that means bundling up while looking chic.   The right coat paired with some stylish gloves, a cozy scarf and cute little hat will instantly pull your look together with minimal effort and major payout.  This coat is one of my current favorites.  I love how soft and easy it is via the wool and cashmere blend.  Currently on sale, this one is a do not miss.  Also adoring this one especially in this gorgeous shade of pink.  On days when ladylike isn't your vibe, there's something to be said for a cool pair of sneaks and a long topper.  Add in a great beanie and your street style is on.  When the weekend rolls around, I'm so into this fedora, the little cropped coat and fingerless hand warmers, too cute.  Happy Monday, everyone!
