Hello, Wednesday!  Look at the wonderful fall fun you've brought with you today!  From colorful leaves to caramel lattes, October is everything that autumn does best.  One of those things includes saddling up to a hayride and traveling on down to the pumpkin patch.  From the time we are little, I really don't think this is a tradition we ever outgrow.  The only difference may be that when we are little girls, it's all about finding the best potential jack-o-lantern in the bunch.  As grown up girls, dressing for the occasion can be just as much fun!  Honestly, is there anyone who just doesn't love cozy sweaters, comfy socks, blanket scarves, plaid and flannels and all the wonderful ways for layering them up?  And what better place to do it than at the cider donut mill?  To cover the bases I'm thinking that these pieces are the keys...an oversized sweater like this to keep warm amid the October chill...a striped turtleneck for layering on the comfort and mixing patterns up...a great pair of farm-friendly boots, a hat to replace last season's sunnies and a gorgeous poncho to take you everywhere you want to go this fall.  Other must-haves can certainly mix and match (thinks vests and boy shirts and chambray as well) as they add new and playful elements to your day-at-play look.  I've linked all my favorites for you below.  Hope they inspire you to some countryside fun this coming weekend!

Sweater weather is here and these are some of my favorites.  Chunky, cropped, oversized or with zipper detailing there are just so many great ways to wear the season staple.  I simply love how many ways this piece can be easily reinvented.  With this many pretty choices, I had to dedicate the entire post to the best of the best.  I came across this color blocked option while recently shopping Piperlime's collection (which are currently being featured on a 20% off promo).  I'm also loving this one.  Cropped versions are also chic and sweet especially when layered over a long button down or tee.  Club Monaco's version is the perfect choice with it's super soft texture and short silhouette.  This similar soft mohair striped one would be perfect on a Saturday with well-worn in denim and your favorite riding boots.  Finally, I think I've fallen hardest of all for the poncho (so much so that I'll be dedicating an entire post to that one…stay tuned!).  This cashmere version is on my wish list.  You can shop all my faves by clicking the icons below.  Enjoy!
