Hello and Happy Thanksgiving week!  Ahhh, this is one of my most favorite weeks of the year as the floodgates to the holiday season are about to open and the most glorious time of the year is ready to begin.  But, before it does, I want to take a moment to highlight a lovely little casual look that can take you all the places you need to go leading up to the big day.

Grey, cream and navy are such a gorgeous trio that perfectly embodies the richness of the season with the perfect understated feel I love.  This sweater is such a good option at the minute as it can easily go casual or dressy depending how you pair it.  These trousers complement the feel this look is going for and create that perfect early winter white effect.

If you're searching for a coat, this one comes highly recommended.  I love the look and feel of it worn effortlessly with loafers, heels and hightops alike.  Today, some easygoing Converse fit the bill.  I'm loving them in this shade, so wearable with so many of those wintertime neutrals.

Classic black sunglasses and this stunning handbag will never get old.  I love them both with most everything I wear which in and of itself makes them worth the price of admission.  I love it when getting dressed is this simple and looks this well done.

So in love with this look.  From the gorgeous combination of black and navy to the classic juxtaposition of a cream contrast amid the vibe of some old school denim.  To me, it is just timeless and perfect in every sense of the word.  

This coat is a beautiful piece to build a look on.  Of course, the color is huge reason why I love it but the fit and function lead to a flawless drape on the body while wearing it.  It also will work with so much of what is likely in your fall wardrobe at the minute from trousers and trainers with chunky knits to midi skirts, blouses and boots .

For this look, I decided to go with a nice, relaxed fit sweater in the ivory which mixes and matches with all of my neutrals.  This pair of high-waisted denim looks polished yet feels comfortable which isn't always the case when it comes to jeans.

Some gold hoops and a swipe of red lipstick gives a sense of classic glamour to the look while some real nice black accessories finish things off.  These loafers are one of my favorite pairs at the moment and this bag is a great one to consider if you are looking for a sort of versatile, money well-spent piece.
