The quintessential summer stripe…Oh how i adore it!  Fresh, nautical and so easy to style in endless ways, this print never gets old and to me, is the best of the summer go-tos.  From rompers to dresses and everything in between, le stripe is très magnifique!  If you haven't ever noticed, I am a little bit obsessed with Nordstroms.  The fact that they've been carrying the London-based Topshop line makes everything that much better.  This striped dress from Topshop is edgy and cute.  While there, I'm also thinking of picking up this striped romper that would be perfect for après beach (and is under $40!).  The look can also get taken up a notch via a striped maxi dress or striped peplum top.  If a casual striped t-shirt dress is more your speed then these Isla metallic slides from J.Crew are a must-get and they're on sale!

Is there anything more classic than the striped tee? From bateaus to shirt dresses, this pattern transcends the spring wardrobe so effortlessly and makes getting dressed so simple.  I always look forward to those first few warm days of spring when I can shake off the layers and wear my favorite navy and white striped top.  This one is great and would be perfect with a navy circle skirt, straw fedora and pair of wedges.  On an off duty day, I'd also love it with a pair of boyfriend jeans, a leather backpack, my sunnies (loving these!) and these must-have sneakers.  Stripes and florals also still have my attention too.  A cropped long sleeved striped top is always amazing paired with a pretty floral skirt. Put a quilted handbag (this one is a favorite in my closet) together with it and you're ready for a day with the girls.  Love it!  And when the moment calls for that"not even trying" kind of look, the striped t-shirt dress is your best friend.  So easy, it goes everywhere from brunch to the beach and is always feminine and flattering.  What more could a girl ask for?  

While it might be a little too cold to hit the beach here on the east coast, spring is getting closer everyday.  Is your closet ready?  Happy Friday loves!
