Sometimes I like to let my outfit reflect the weather even if it's a gray, kinda moody day.  Shades of slate, white, blue and accents of black can come together effortlessly to create a look to love any day of the week and no matter the weather.

This oversized gray relaxed button down shirt takes casual to new heights.  I especially love it right now as it gives me the perfect amount of cozy on these still chilly days edging towards spring.  Wear it on top of a straight leg pair of distressed denim and these Chelsea boots for both comfort and style.  I like it as a cute jacket too, paired with a white cropped sweater.  

Warm accents of gold (love these hoops), tortoise and nude add just the right amount of femininity to soften the mood.  Last, a punch of ebony ties the entire look together with style and ease.  And just like that, you are completely gray day ready.

Transitional style and in between seasons dressing is some of my favorite because it means we're heading milder days ahead.  How good does that feel?!

If you’re only looking to add a few pieces to your wardrobe then you’re going to want to get the most bang for your buck. And whether you want to spend a lot or a little, you will want to grab a set of interchangeable pieces that work together in multiple ways with maximum potential.  Neutral shades and “the new neutral” patterns are what will work effortless towards creating the most style-inspired looks all from the streamlined closet. You will have them saying, “I’ve never seen her in the same outfit” every time you walk by, haha.

So, to do that I always try and pick the items that are in the shades, colors, patterns and styles that I know I live in and can easily adapt in a variety of ways. Basic tanks, cute camis, everyday tees, jeans, a great jacket and chic little sneakers are the perfect jump-off point for me. As the weather trends cooler, add in a cozy cardigan along with some ankle boots and voila! You’re ready for whatever the day brings.
