By now you know that neutrals. are my most beloved favorite when it comes to getting dressed.  In addition to that, I'm noticing that I am also starting to really enjoy matching sets that perhaps do or do not "match" in the most conventional of ways.

Essentially, when a said top and bottom color coordinate in just the right way, I consider it to be a matching pair.  Of course, some brands and designers are consciously designing these lovely little sets which is grand.  But, there's nothing saying you can't simply pull together a top and similarly shaded bottom and create your own look.

While it's still July, I find myself loving a long silk and linen skirt offset by a chic silk blend tank in a creamy ivory tone.  And, as fall eventually approaches, I can see myself reaching for a smart blazer worn with a matching shade of Bermuda shorts layered over a nice white or ivory colored tank.

Flutter sleeved sweaters are always a feminine favorite of mine.  This version would look so nice paired with a set of belted linen shorts and a straw hat like this one.  A rattan bag is always a welcome accessory and this one is no exception.

Finally, if you find yourself unable to part with all the wonderful comfort we've become so accustom to then a fleece set like this one might be worth considering.  I love the sleeve and pocket detail that add just the right amount of interest without saying a word.  And, let's not forget this minimalist white set which may be my most favorite of all.  So easy and so of the moment.  It is ultra-comfortable yet somehow always looks so effortlessly chic.  It doesn't get any better than that.

I hope you're all enjoying a wonderful Monday!
