One of my most favorite Christmas traditions is baking sweet holiday cookies.  Let me say that these tasty little pretties pictured here are not my own but they are some of the most darling I've found and I just had to share.  So far this season I've made some bits that include Mexican polvorones, whipped shortbread (soooo yummy and simple, they're definitely worth your time), peanut butter chocolate chip Levain style and Magic Cookie Bars.  These recipes are easy to follow and you can find them on my Pinterest board In the Kitchen.  Being in the kitchen whipping up family favorites reminds me of being a little girl and enjoying Christmases with my Nana.  And truth be told, it also gives me reasons to buy the cutest kitchen and baking accessories, haha.  I always pick up my basic kitchen must-haves from my go-to shops including Williams-Sonoma, Crate and Barrel and Home Goods.  I love how many happy surprises you can find there on a whim.  But when it comes to all the fun and festive extras I'm always shopping Anthropologie where the pretty and the nostalgia know no limits.  This sweet little spatula is so adorable and comes with a pretty sugar cookie cutter.  This cupcake kit is perfect for anyone wanting to add some special touches to their baked goodies.  Holiday treat bags are the perfect way to package those delicious cookies made for someone special.  Get me a cute little apron and I'm ready to go.  Here's to hoping your holiday is delicious and fun...Merry almost Christmas!

xx,

K
