Happy Fourth of July

In anticipation of the birthday of our beautiful country, here are some chic and easy ways to get dressed, decorate and celebrate in classic all American style.  From beach to barbecue, these ideas will inspire you to playfully show off your patriotic pride.

As with most seasons, stripes are huge once again this holiday.  Being seen everywhere from tops and tees to shorts and rugby-style inspired messenger bags, this pattern pairs as well with solids as it does with printed pieces.  This striped boatneck tee by WHETHERLY features a classic neckline and gracefully rounded hem.  It could easily be styled with your favorite chino shorts and these strappy sandals for a cute and casual look.  Or, when wanting to up the ante a bit, try mixing prints by putting it together with this adorable high waisted skirt by Alice + Olivia.  Just like that, you're picnic in the park ready.

No matter which outfit choice you decide to make, you'll be ready to pull the look all together with a few great accessories.  Tory Burch gets it right once again with this colorful Tripp bangle bracelet in summer shades of blue.  Don't let the heat get you down.  Instead, sweep your hair into a high pony and let your ears show some style.  Try a fun pair of earrings like these coral feather finds from British fave Dorothy Perkins.  Keep necklines happy with hot holiday statements here too.  Kenneth Jay Lane offers brilliant blue baubles with his take on the bubble necklace.  Finally, Kate Spade lets you stay connected in style with this nautically inspired iphone case.

Happily, it's not just the wardrobe essentials that take the stage this year.  Fun picks for house and home are also on the list.  Two of my top choices for now are chevron desk accessories like these designed by See Jane Work and this chicly-inspired coffee table read by Miles Redd.

No matter how you decide to spend the fourth, with these options, style is sure to follow.  Have a beautiful Monday and thanks so much for reading!

XO,
